Not suitable for Geelong...got it.Haha not so much the head ducking
....but he looked slow in 1 highlights packageYep I see both and absolutely would be stoked to have a young Joel/Travis coming into our system with leadership potential.
I'll be excited if we call out Hobbs name on draft night

Agreed and like Boak has strong leadership qualities.Hobbs reminds me of Travis Boak in that video.

Think the whole package is important when comparing and rating all these kids.
I reckon that’s been a major factor when assessing draftees for us for a long time now, and can seperate elite talent.
Hobbs is everything we need and is the rare type of inside bull that can rest forward. The perfect Cotch replacement.Rendell just said that he's hearing Gold Coast will take Callaghan at Pick 3. They did have interest in Hobbs, but have settled on Callaghan. GWS still keen on Andrew at 2 if they keep it.
Makes me think that we're probably underrating Hobbs on this board if he's in the conversation for such a high pick.
Wouldnt be too upset if Gibcus slid through to our pickRendell just said that he's hearing Gold Coast will take Callaghan at Pick 3. They did have interest in Hobbs, but have settled on Callaghan. GWS still keen on Andrew at 2 if they keep it.

For me its not about the "Sexy part of it" Im more concerned about his pace , agility and tankHobbs is everything we need and is the rare type of inside bull that can rest forward. The perfect Cotch replacement.
Its strange our supporters inc me arent set on him. I guess inside bulls arent "sexy"
Nah fu** it, im set on him. Hobbs for Captain
His pace isnt stopping him at 18 level and he seems to move well. Its hard to know how that translates. For me its not about the "Sexy part of it" Im more concerned about his pace , agility and tank
He is a good size 183cm and 81 also being a september kid he will probably get to 185cm 85-88 kgs
will he make it to our pickHobbs is everything we need and is the rare type of inside bull that can rest forward. The perfect Cotch replacement.

Maybe not, he and Ward are my 2 favs and I reckon 1 makes it to us.will he make it to our pick
Hobbs
1. Horne-Francis
2. Daicos
3. Darcy
4. Andrew
5. Gibcus
6. Callaghan
7. Ward
8. Erasmus/Amiss
9. Hobbs/Erasmus
Anyone of those guys after 3 can go
In any order but I’d be happy with any bar Andrew
1001 media articles out and about all respouting the same shit everyone already knows, but none bothering to cover details like this.Would be lovely to have clarification on the rules regarding picks vis-a-vis list spots available. Do they have to match ? Can you take more picks to the draft than you have spot available ?
I've read varying reports. What's the rule ?
I'm finding it hard to believe GWS are going to take Andrew at 2. But if they do, and GC do also go Callighan, then we factor in Hawks are extremely keen on Ward (assuming Crows pass on him), who are the Crows likely to take? Crows & Freo only before ours (assuming no other changes for now). I suspect Freo might go Amiss at 6. Hobbs or Gibcus or Rachele or Erasmus there for our pick possible. But I think Andrew is a slider, one of those won't be thereRendell just said that he's hearing Gold Coast will take Callaghan at Pick 3.
