Agreed and like Boak has strong leadership qualities.

Think the whole package is important when comparing and rating all these kids.

I reckon that’s been a major factor when assessing draftees for us for a long time now, and can seperate elite talent.

Rendell just said that he's hearing Gold Coast will take Callaghan at Pick 3. They did have interest in Hobbs, but have settled on Callaghan. GWS still keen on Andrew at 2 if they keep it.

Makes me think that we're probably underrating Hobbs on this board if he's in the conversation for such a high pick.

He is a good size 183cm and 81 also being a september kid he will probably get to 185cm 85-88 kgs

His pace isnt stopping him at 18 level and he seems to move well. Its hard to know how that translates.

This morning I went down the rabbit hole that is 90 second highlight videos of prospective draftees. Making me both up-to-date and an expert.

Wouldn’t mind one of Gouter, Hobbs, Ward, Rachele, Gibcus or Erasmus. Ironically least blown away by Callahan.

We won’t be getting a flawless player by any means at 9, but we will be getting a very good prospect regardless methinks.

I'm finding it hard to believe GWS are going to take Andrew at 2. But if they do, and GC do also go Callighan, then we factor in Hawks are extremely keen on Ward (assuming Crows pass on him), who are the Crows likely to take? Crows & Freo only before ours (assuming no other changes for now). I suspect Freo might go Amiss at 6. Hobbs or Gibcus or Rachele or Erasmus there for our pick possible. But I think Andrew is a slider, one of those won't be there

They lost Cameron, apparently the lobb trade fell over too. Rucks looks dodgy and midfield is stacked so it may make sense for them? Sounds like he's got high ceiling

Guessing adelaide take ward / Hobbs / erasumus unless they reach for a homegrown like draper. Could trade down during or before the draft too.

Freo fans sound high on Amiss and van Rooyen fwiw
