I think he will have a place in 2021 as a hard body and a leader in the middle. He can protect the kids a bit while not sacrificing his own game too much.

But I think in 2022 he and Keays might find themselves pushed out.

Yeah the five year deal was expensive but at the time a real morale booster to hold onto a favorite player when others were leaving. I’m happy to have spent the coin

One is a natural midfielder, Jones is a forward.

Forward is Jones future. Let the play come to him to be involved and he is generally a good mark and finisher.

Create play in the middle....nope.
