Petracca vs Merritt vs Mitchell

Last spot in the mid's can can't make my mind up. All will be in my side at some point hopefully but there are reasons to not pick them all. My other mid's are Macrae, Bont , Rowell and LDU. So want a SP not a value pick.

Trac - Dee's have lots of injuries which might effect his scoring early. And can he back up last year's breakout
Merritt - Small chol, and his team are going to get some hidings this season which will have more effect on a more outside/small chol'd player.
Titch - Might start slow coming back for injuries, Hawks have the first bye so would be an ideal upgrade then.

Would appreciate some opinions :moustache:

Out of the three I like Titch even with a possible slow start. Other Top8 Mids (for 3 year average) Jelly, Fyfe & Cripps all worthy of consideration as well.

Tom Green v Caldwell
Caldwell

Both excellent points
What’s your prediction for Steele?
I had Steele for a while but in the end I’ve opted for Macrae. Steele is a gun, but prior to last year his season averages weren’t great. I’m just not sure whether last year was a result of shortened quarters or not. Macrae has three years of 120+ averages for basically the same price. Oliver has room to improve but the news coming out of Melb that they’re going to change the game plan to rotate 10 through the midfield is concerning. I can’t see Piggy playing well anywhere else. Both Piggy and Steele are wait and see’s for me and potential upgrade targets.

A: Caldwell, Bruhn, Docherty
B: Daniher, Dow, Daniel
A, except I’d find an alternative to Bruhn

Honestly there is only one decision (team selection pending) for me to finish my team:

Daniel + Young

Vs

Docherty + Clark

I’d like Daniel and Clark but I can’t wring a single $ of further saving out of the rest of the team.

Help?
TBH I’d be grabbing both Young and Clark and then using the leftover cash to upgrade elsewhere

Forget Titch. Needs 50 possessions to score well.

Trac has a lot of upside left still and will be GAJ like in years to come - first picked
However Merrett is a nice safe option

FWIW I have both Trac and Merrett

Titch's highest possie count last year was 34 (only had 3x30+ possie games) and he still averaged 113.5

Nope. Jordan Clark. Soz for lack of clarity.
Isn’t Hayden Young more expensive than Jordan Clark?

Unless you mean Lachie Young?

Someone really needs to label these guys.

Last year doesn’t count. Shortened quarters so scores inflated by scaling.

True, but the same also applies for every other premo.
That’s why I’m judging every other Premo on 2019. Just have to pretend last year didn’t exist IMO. And my comments re Titch are based on 2019 too.

Lloyd + Steele
v
Neale + Daniel
Can’t go wrong either way TBH.

Prob Lloyd & Steele as I think Neale is overpriced but that’s nitpicking.

Only decision left to make. 12 keeper pure GnR or 13 keeper with a couple risky picks

Daniher + Titch or Dusty and change
vs
Phillips + De Goey or Taranto

I'm trying not to discount 2020 entirely, hence I'm basing my selections on players individual 3 year averages. I can see why some would ignore 2020

+1.

Lloyd, Danger, Neale, Taranto & HYoung
V
Daniel, Dunkley, Titch, Bont & HClark
The first option but find an alternative to Tim

IMO both HClark & HYoung is the way to go at D4/D5
