They've trialled 2 friday games with one in WA or SA this year, this is the third time, gives a later start for us over here

This one specifically is due to Origin at Optus on Sunday so they needed to use the ground on a Friday and West Coast didn't deserve the Friday night game, so hid it behind another one.

Love this position for the dogs who are generally a super first quarter side. Hawks still seem to be holding onto a bit of their early season hype, they’ve absolutely fallen away recently, whilst the Dogs have slowly been building. Every game a kitchen sink game for the dogs at the moment so another must win for them.

Has goaled in 8/10 career games so far but only been able to convert to multiples in 2/10. Has been sent back to the VFL to practice his craft a bit and has been brought back into the side. Hawks have the third worst defensive record in the comp and will now play without big men Frost and Hartigan. Stage looks set for JUH to kick a couple tonight in what looks to be a high scoring shoot out.

2.5u - Daniel 25+ disposals - $1.75 - Dabble
8/13 this year, Hawks being a super friendly team for the guys off half back. Good spot.

3u - Stringer 15+ disposals - $1.80 - TAB
1u - Stringer 20+ disposals - $4.50 - TAB
Promising signs thats Stringer’s fitness is building last week as he was able to get to 11 CBAs and collect 16 disposals for the game. In this role he should be comfortably be clearing 15+ most weeks as he did in 8/11 games after the bye last year, he also went 20+ in 5/11 games during that stretch. His big hardened body adds a different dimension to the young bombers midfield as is something they enjoy using. West Coast have been giving up big disposal numbers all year making this a play I’m happy to be on.

2.5u - Merrett over 30.5 disposals - $1.87 - 365
Had big minutes in the absence of Parish last week but couldn’t quite convert with a large disposal count. Fully expecting him to bounce back and smash this one out the park tonight.

2u - Kennedy/Darling 5+ combined - $2.85 - SB
1u - Kennedy/Darling 6+ combined - $5 - SB
These two haven’t quite hit their usual heights this year, but thinking tonight is the night that one of them cause some damage. The Essendon defence has been often vulnerable to the key forward this year and the Eagles look to be heading into this one with the most hope they have all year. A healthy looking side capable of putting in a score. Expecting these two to be too mature for the Essendon defence.
