The only issue is that the players in question, ie DeGoey and Ginnivan seem to thrive on negative publicity with their performance on field.

Will be interesting to see the kind of game they play on the weekend.

pointsbet n tab has pies/gws at only 168.5 after we felt all GWS totals would spike into the 170's... will the GWS all out attack continue or will mcveigh slant it back a bit after some people questioning whether it's a winning/suistanable style..It would be odd to see them change completely back to chip/slow stuff so hopefully it continues as Pies like to play pretty fast off turnovers too and daring so I see a lot of upside in this bet if it misses it would only be through poor kicking or weather... sunday has 2-5 mm of rain forecast but either side SATURDAY/MONDAY is clear so it likely it could be fine sunday..

Giants 4 games under Lord McVeigh have yielded 1st quarter scores of
70,86,36,71. So this has cleared twice, had one very near miss and one lower score due to the inability of North to score a goal. Collingwood small/midsize forwards should be able to score against this giants backline also. Will be good conditions.

dogs lose english, duryea & weightman. hawks will regain gunston & lewis.

hawthorns form is pretty unpredictable, you would think the dogs get up but odds are about right.

Yeh Hawks often play well vs good sides and if On can definately cause upsets as has been seen several times this season... I'd even have the dogs closer to 1.50 given the ins and outs... think they had an easy game on weekend in a trackmeet it might mask that they still have some issues

I am normally pretty good as a dees fan at tipping our games and was all over the pies last week... once again the lions here... 7.5 start its drifted a further 2 points with Zorko being out... yet they have an in form forward line something we don't have... I really don't get it... I guess the bookies are just waiting for a melbourne statement game.. maybe the bye does refresh us but I still think this should be coin flip odds..

judging by Mcveighs comments.. looks like theyll go attack again vs Pies if you think "going head to head" means the same sort of style he's been going with.... the total has actually dropped 3 this arvo to 165.5... maybe due to Davis likely being in but GWS also get an attacking player in Taranto probably back... the chance of showers could of triggered this total change?
