Hard to believe a side that couldn’t beat North is now fancied to beat the Lions at the Gabba. Dustin Martin’s return could be genius or an arrogant misstep. I think Lions might step up. Would also save me ticket buying angst next week after the Pies are beaten by Geelong - although if I could get in, a Pies-Tigers final is quite something, based on the last one.

Backing Collingwood for love, but once they are out my preferred champions would be pretty much reverse ladder order, except with Richmond moved to near Geelong as teams I’d much rather not see win another one just yet.
