Can't happen. AFL own the rights to team names, logos, songs. We wouldn't be following our club, we'd be following a completely seperate entity. As much as I wish it was possible to stick it up the AFL, it's not and unfortunately we just have to suck up the inequalities and biases we see.

Outside them both being concussion issues these two are very far apart. If I'm Seedsman and the Swans pick me up in the rookie draft I'd then retire

Still, winning the flag this year was well worth giving up Seedsman.

Paddy was never unable to play due to his issues, in fact the only reason he made his comeback was specifically because they weren't inhibiting his ability to play and doctors deemed him at no more risk than any other player. Seedsman is very clearly different to that.

It's not the same logic because I rate one and not the other. If Seedsman didn't end up playing for us, no big loss. If he did... he's very good.

So an extra round now for 2023, another money grab for the AFL, maybe some of that money might find its way to grassroots football which is dying a slow death.

Opportunity missed, AFL should have backed themselves. The NRL have shown the majority of fans come from interstate to the weekend, it’s not about the local fans filling stadiums. Sydney infinitely better locale than Adelaide in my opinion, and would have been great to seecAFL dominate NSW for a weekend

I'll take the extra Swans game in SA, hopefully we get 2 here next year.
