The Blues hold picks 17 and 18, with the former involved in the Phoebe McWilliams deal, while the latter came from Richmond via Hawthorn, with Grace Egan ending up at the Tigers.

With all the important players lost through moving on, as well as not being compensated at for Maddy or Gee, it looks to be we have given away a extra early round teen pick for a very small upgrade altogether..

There’s obviously a player they have in mind that they feel the need to do this, but we have thrown away an entire extra early teen draft pick that with the exodus of players lost, most in our best22, that we would see it vital for our list of having another talented kid at that range an important addition to our list…

Oh okay. She was playing for our VFL side so the Northern part didn't ring a bell.

Seems to be a more productive version of Georgia Gee. Do we have bigger fish to fry? Certainly not many of those types around.

This is the only possible explanation. Having consecutive picks almost guarantees that they can't be trumped on a particular player that they're expecting to go around the 8/9 mark. We just have to wait and see ...

There's no fair comparison to be made is there? It's not a "woe is me" attitude to suggest that this period has been a disaster for the club, and that's not even considering what we've received (or in some cases, didn't receive) in return for the above departures.

It's not this year in isolation. It's the last 3 in totality.

Watched some of her basketball highlights. Looks like she has good vision and spatial awareness. Not overly quick but not slow either.
