ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the Dolphins are "willing to listen" to offers for TE Mike Gesicki.

Fowler said NFL executives "don't want much to do with" Gesicki's $10.9 million franchise tag, which the Dolphins strangely used on a tight end they clearly did not plan to use extensively. Gesicki has shown signs of life lately, including in Week 6 against the Vikings when he caught six passes for 69 yards and a touchdown with TE Durham Smythe (hamstring) sidelined. Being acquired by a team willing to use Gesicki as a primary pass-catching tight end would be his best-case fantasy scenario. He should remain on fantasy rosters until potential trade talks shake out. Otherwise, he's a TE2 option.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports the 49ers and Rams have been "implicated" in a potential trade for Christian McCaffrey.

Fowler also mentioned the Bills as a potential landing spot for McCaffrey, though his contract might be an issue for a Buffalo team that "wants to keep its cap outlook clean for next year due to many top-dollar players on the payroll," per Fowler. The Rams backfield is in flux after the team appeared to part ways with former starter Cam Akers last week. Darrell Henderson worked as LA's lead back in Week 6 against the Panthers. The 49ers are expecting Elijah Mitchell back in the next few weeks after deploying Jeff Wilson as the starter for much of the regular season. The Panthers have been open to trading away CMC since the summer, according to Fowler, who said it would not be a surprise if McCaffrey were dealt before the NFL's November 1 trade deadline.

Broncos head coach Nathaniel Hackett said Melvin Gordon was not injured in Week 6 against the Chargers.

In other words, Gordon was benched in favor of Latavius Murray, who joined the Broncos two weeks ago and now finds himself as the top early-down back. Gordon rushed three times for eight yards before he was yanked from Monday night's game against LA; Murray ended with 15 rushes while Mike Boone took most of the pass-catching work out of the Denver backfield. Gordon, helmet off, was visibly frustrated on the Broncos sideline throughout the second half. He's not a fantasy option for now.

Chargers head coach Brandon Staley benched CB J.C. Jackson in Week 6 against the Broncos.

Jackson was a splash signing for LA during free agency. He signed a on a five-year, $82.5 million contract with $40 million guaranteed and was widely seen as the missing piece in the team's defense. Jackson, who missed the early part of the season with an ankle issue, has been burned repeatedly over the past two weeks. "It just wasn't good enough in the first half, and we felt like we needed to make a change," Staley said after the Chargers beat the Broncos in overtime. On Monday night, Jackson gave up a 47-yard reception to KJ Hamler and was involved on a busted coverage that left Greg Dulcich wide open for a 39-yard touchdown. Michael Davis took Jackson's place in the LA secondary.

Colts owner Jim Irsay told reporters he believes there is "merit to remove" Commanders owner Daniel Snyder.

Irsay also noted in his brief interview that he believes there "potentially will be" the 24 votes needed to remove Snyder, and noted "He can investigate me till the cows come home, it’s not going to back me off.” It's one thing to get this smoke from sources -- for another owner to loudly proclaim this points strongly to the fact that Snyder's ownership tenure is in real jeopardy. Irsay believes it's in the best interest of the NFL to remove Snyder from his ownership position and that's probably not a small circle view behind closed doors if he's willing to say it this publicly.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports that Russell Wilson (hamstring) is getting an MRI on what could be a "fairly significant injury."

Denver's backup is Brett Rypien. If Wilson is forced to miss extended time, the Broncos will probably morph into even more of a ground-and-pound team. Wilson had not missed an NFL start prior to last season, and played through a shoulder injury the last few weeks, but he's playing so poorly that he's not actually helping Denver by gutting it out. Shutting him down for a bit might be best for the team in the short-term.

Sounds like Russell "The excuse" (should be his new alter ego instead of Mr Unlimmmmmited) Wilson was exaggerating injuries to the media again. :$

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Russell Wilson (hamstring) is considered "day-to-day."

That's not quite the doom-and-gloom we were fed earlier. Wilson sounds like he may be truly questionable to play in Week 7 against the Jets. Rapoport helpfully adds that Russ is "pushing to play." The Wilson that we saw in the second half last night won't help the Broncos.

Wheels are clearly in motion.

Please get up for week 7 Russ :praying:

They traded Hill rather than extend him. Hasnt OBJ said he wants a long term deal with whoever his signs with?

Not that OBJ would cost what Hill did.

I really don't know who's giving him a long term deal? Someone stupid will do it I suppose.

Giants or Dallas could use him, but dont think he wants to play with either of those QB's

After this weekend’s game, I feel they may be looking for another offensive piece. Defence needs work too, but more adjustment than major upgrade.

I dont even know if KC will be making moves, but if they do it wont be splashy ones. they only just had the money for the usual PS elevations and stuff for the rest of the season, the $3m they just created isnt going to buy much.

But if they start clearing more space then they are in the trade market.

Smells like CMC or Akers
