They are 198cm and 199cm and have played both KPD and KPF for South and can pinch hit in the ruck. Strom has also played wing and is very fit/strong. A bit of Kepler about him. Wouldn't expect too much at the top level, but they at least offer some versatility if we lose some tall timber. I'd guess that Strom might do better if needed, but Schlensog is much younger (28 v 21).

On the 4th Feb there was this:
“The Claremont star is currently battling an Achilles injury this pre-season, however Rogers is likely to be given enough time to prove his worth to the Dockers prior to the SSP's closure on March 9.”

Perhaps Rogers is still building up to full fitness at Claremont. In saying this we would need to have him down next week to start a short trial run before 9 March (which is only 2-weeks away).

I've been to plenty of games in Sydney and even though alot of them don't really understand the game alot, they still turn up and are super polite.


Melbourne on the other hand....nearly got bashed in 2012 after we beat the Tigers at the G and the missus was happy singing the freo song and a few blokes turned around and wanted to flatten us.

Hated going to Collingwood Fremantle MCG game. Pack of disgusting ferals.

Richmond are passionate, give them that, but I felt sorry for them at the time due to their years of not even winning a final. The MCG holders really try to intimidate the away sides don’t they? Laughable really.

But his a driven hard worker and with those ethos he will get better and better.
All the hype around others improving watch out for AB!
The jaw stunted his growth (English still hasn’t recovered from his hit) if that didn’t happen he would be ahead of Walsh.
Anyone putting a ceiling on AB get ready for some egg on the face.

has become the latest big-name injury worry at Fremantle, sitting out of this morning’s light touch session with a thumb injury.
Darcy, who emerged as one of the competition’s premier ruckmen last season, watched on with a small brace supporting his left thumb.
The 2021 All-Australian squad member is set to miss Friday’s practice match against West Coast at Mineral Resources Park, but the Dockers expect he will be available for the return pre-season bout at Fremantle Oval on March 6 as a tune-up for round one.
Darcy had been managed recently with a minor Achilles issue but has enjoyed a strong summer on the track for the most part.
Fremantle will be keen to take a no-risk approach with the 23-year-old ahead of their season-opening trip to play Adelaide on March 20, as they target their first round one road win since 2014.

Tucker, who has suffered another hamstring setback, jogged rehab laps and did other running drills by himself and is racing time to be fit for the season-opener.
As the end of a long, hot pre-season nears ahead of Friday’s practice match, the Dockers were in jovial spirits during a short touch session that involved plenty of fun.

We do need to find a replacement for Acres on the wing, Aish is decent. I think Henry could be a revelation. I still think were are a top 8 midfield.

Our biggest weakness was actually turning the ball over in really bad spots, making it very easy for teams to score against us.

Given we are looking to squeeze guys into our back line and forward line, I think anyone of Clark, Chapman, Sturt, Young, Walker, Freddy, Henry or even Wilson or Hughes could make great wingman. They all have speed (most can take a mark and kick well) they just need the tank and the apitude to run up and down the ground all day (which are couple of those may not have)…

I am impressed by both Strom and Schlensog. Both have played well for Souths. Both are versatile and can play various roles.
Maybe age could keep Strom out, but he would still be value if selected.He has good hands and reads the play very very well. Cool in a crisis.
Schlensog has youth on his side. Last year he played forward , back and a few time played in the ruck. He has good hands and a good set shot for goal.
