So pies are gonna rest 5 or more players in the last rd, then they have another week off during the pre finals bye and then if they win first up it’s another week off? So they’ll have players coming into a prelim having played 1 game in the previous 4?

Yeh, I reckon the older blokes who are seasoned enough and know their bodies better than anyone else will likely sit out.

They certainly won't be taking the last game seriously if they have a couple games buffer. Bombers will very likely win that game.
