It's brilliant because we've now got this mix of a top 3 defense - yes actually - and a forward line that can explode. We just kicked 120 against a top 2 team. Literally what is required for finals footy. Defense, pressure, X factor up forward, key position guns.
To think we did that with Harry out most of the game is mind boggling to me, given where we were just last month. And that those who stepped up to fill the void were historically maligned players in Cottrell, Mots and Silvagni (with 4!).

Can't believe there were people calling for him to be dropped coming into this match. Besides the 4 goals, he was taking marks on our defensive goal line and bursting to make an option on the wings. Was everywhere.

Another all round team effort… the pressure of the small/medium forwards in the first half was superb, exactly what you want.

I did think out aloud during our poo streak earlier this year. Was vossy hand breaking, and holding back the run and dash so that they were fit and firing for the back third of the season.???

Does Pitto fit at all in our best team ??

I don't think we should go with two pure rucks ever again. If Melbourne couldn't make it work with two of the best in the comp there's no hope for the Pitto/TDK combo.

TDK's last two games have been his best at Carlton. Pitto's a better pure tap ruckman, but TDK's impact around the ground only continues to improve. I've now got TDK ahead of him.

Genuinely speechless.

Didn’t think these boys had the mental fortitude to play hard, uncompromising football. But here we are.

Fog, Cuners, Martin have led the way. They’ve given us different looks up forward and in the midfield. As Arrow said Cotts has also been terrific. And JSOS has been enormous.

We were always going to be defined by our bottom six. Well, right now, our bottom six have been the difference. They just won us a game of football by smashing the second best team in the comp.

Think the negotiation table is where this lies.. if TDK is happy to take a bit less over fewer years and stay vs long term for big money and leave for the unknown

Kemp playing in a fashion/style that will make everyone forget about Liam Jones for good….

I dare say the stability and trust in Vossy from Brian Cook and the board during our 6 game losing streak (where where we were not playing badly so much as just forgotten how to win) has been a real positive for our players and culture tbh.

Cookie has been a heaven sent gift to our footy club

Good performance but seemed to revert the previous version in the 2nd half. Good that the goals were kicked early.

Great to see those promoted performing, and being able to rely on those in the 2’s stepping up without reservations.
Adrenaline early I'd say and probably mentally stuffed by half way

Carlton supporters in full voice on the way to Southern Cross station after the game 💪
What can you say … what a turnaround !!
Letting footballers football is always a good idea 👍
Was in that Sosh Pit!

To be honest I found him pretty invisible today. Not good, not bad just popping up on my screen every now and then

I'd really love to have him capture his form from last year but at the moment he is pretty irrelevant to the team.

Not saying he should be dropped but if someone had to be he'd be one of the first on my list

But all positives for today, he didn't need to stand out or be relied on. The team as whole played as a team not individuals
Thought he was solid and played his role well. Was tough inside.

Tbf, today he was basically number 22 picked. Nothing I can think was bad so would presume he'd keep his spot.
