With trade discussions slowing down for most, how are everyone's captaincy choices going for the year? I'm at a 132.4 average, but have had less success with popular options like Bont and Daicos than most.
For this week, English into hopefully Madden, because none of the captaincy options fill me with a lot of confidence. Maybe Daicos or Dawson if English fails.

Just checked my captaincy options for the first time (Monday morning work procrastinations).
R1-10 was dominated by Oliver (apart from R5&6) with an avg of 129.
Neale 2 games for 142 avg.
English the same for 152 avg.
Laird 3 games for 132 avg.
Dunks 137, Daicos 123 and Darcy 136 with one game each.
Edit. Rolling at a total average of 134.2 for captaincy choices (forgot to add sorry).

Assuming you go English with the VC, idk if I’d trust Cripps with the C if that fails, even tho he torched them last time. Not a bad differential tho.

Round 3: LDU (late out that I missed) had the VC on Bont (89) I nearly deleted my season here.

Round 8: Bont (164)
Round 9: Dawson (89) had the VC on Anderson (88)
Round 10: Bont (112) had the VC on Trac (103)

Round 13: Dawson (95) had the VC on English (99)

I have a rolling average of 128.27 for captain choices through the year. There are a couple of glaring ones in there, rounds 1, 3, 9 and 13.

If Timmy VC fails, C choices will be very interesting.
Timmy 2.0 against the hawks, Cripps/Walsh at home to the Eagles, Neale at home, Daicos as always, Andy against the Swans and Laird against the Dees are all viable options.
Just pray the big stick man gets up and another C option is sorted before the weekend.

Bont is the #1 player this year, I've had him since round 1 and I've never got a decent VC score out of him, or used him as C.

Interesting exercise. I went back and had a look at my C scores and I'm averaging 128.72. Had a 4 round stretch from rounds 9-12 where i only averaged 103 though, so that's dragged the average down a fair bit.
Had to use my C 12 times and only had twice where they scored less than the VC. (Round 1 and round 10).
I've averaged 126 from my skippers this year.
Haven't accepted a VC score below 120. Only once did I eat a sub-100 score (95) when I ignored a 119 VC.
Definitely haven't nailed the C/VC this year, though, as Stick Insect last week was my first one over 140.
Don't have Trac and only got Laird and Bont in recent weeks.
