Trades 2023 Round 2 Trades

Every year too many folks burn trades in round 1. The only reason to trade this week (other than injured/dropped players) is if you'll need MORE than 3 trades next week. GIVE THEM ANOTHER WEEK.

I prob hold Jones now and trade who ever gets dropped to mackenna .

Constable in trouble I think. Might get one more chance, but he needs to play better. Weller and Powell back very soon. Only thing that might save him is that Long and Dmac are also terrible. He needs to play well and the team to win.

I think he's terrible, and the Suns should never have traded him, but that's not unreasonable to get someone to move interstate.

Yeah DMac looked ok as forward few years back I think he tries hard but lacks class and skill.

Think it's good idea to keep Jones for a week (used trade on McKenna)? Lot of people are doing it with a shaky D6-D8.

Would love some advice. Say you're me & this is your team. What do you do this round? I feel if I do nothing there'll be too much that needs correcting with only 3 trades before the round 3 changes. Obvious moves seem to be Jones for McKenna and Cunnington for Gulden. Thoughts?

Teams good mate. I have cunners too and thinking of flipping him, I already have Gulden so 'm probably going JHF.
I think Jones could be a bust so either Mckenna or Cole would work.

Priority if you weren’t aware is sorting out your emergency set up. When you have your team click on one player on each line and hit ‘E’ - it will turn purple. Then if one of your main team doesn’t play on that line they’ll come on instead and you’ll get their points.

It also allows you to do a ‘Captain loop’ which effectively means you have 2 shots of getting your Captain right - if you want to know about that info is in the Mod Notice at the start of this board.

After my worst round 1 on record (thanks Laird captain), I'm thinking of going hard early (which i usually don't):

Out: Jelly, Jones, Caminiti
In: Callaghan, Gulden, McKenna

My F6 (Greene/Davey) is currently weak - this reinforces the forward-line and adds 3 of my biggest misses.

Jelly ... never again.

I'm in two minds – I'll either hold, or do Jelly -> Callaghan, Clark -> Daicos.

If I do those trades, I'll have the funds to go Caminiti/Greene -> Chandler, Chesser -> Phillpou/Pedlar and Flanders -> JHF next week if they all score in a similar way in R2. That, or keep some cash aside for when I inevitably need to bring in Gawn, who's the number one SC ruck until proven otherwise (should've kept the faith haha).
