I need Sheezel.

Do I trade Liam Jones for him via some dual position play or do I trade Fyfe for him?

Depends on if Jones is named or not. If named he might take 30 marks against the Saints this week, if not named then trade him. I didn't start Fyfe but if I did I would hold this week so I can see which of the midpricers like JHF, Worpel, Setterfield etc backs up their first week performaces.

That's what I'm thinking too ....can get Daicos, without using Jones in the trade ....then potential to upgrade Jones to Bowes on the bubble

Will wait till teams announced ....Fyfe to Sheezel though is

i'm in the same boat with Bytel & Jones.

Bowes is very tempting but I'm leaning to playing safe and consolidating make sure I don't fall further behind.

I don't know if I want to get Naicos & keep Jones though - Jones to Naicos my more likely play.

Im feeling relatively comfortable after a 2095 and have actually built a bit of a plan.
This week
Stewart is out for Docherty.
If Jones doesn't get up, he will be out for McKenna.
I have concerns surrounding the job security of both Constable and Chesser. Weller has been deemed fit, so it's worrisome.
I hope Chesser gets another go.

Next week (dependant on performances):
If Serong struggles again, he will be out for LDU.
If Hopper struggles, he will be out for JHF (if he doesn't s**t the bed, which I'm half expecting to happen).
Plus will likely boost to rookie correct if necessary.

On Hopper, he will start scoring well as the months get colder and the game slows down a bit, but hoping he can show something this week as I'd prefer to keep him.

You're similar to me in that you have Stewart but no Docherty. Also Jones. And very similar rnd 1 scores!

I know Docherty is the tried and true option but goddamn is the extra $100k from Young tempting.

At the moment I'm leaning towards doing the Jones to McKenna trade this week regardless of Jones' fitness. Waiting on teams though.

You have to trade Stewart this week. Doesn’t have to be to Daicos but no point holding an injured prem an extra week.

Young is tempting, but their backline had the game of their lives last week and likely won't have it that easy again this year. I know what I'm getting with Doch for the most part and I'd rather see an extended run of form from Young.

Young had 2 scores above his round 1 score last year. Still only averaged 92. He should still build this year but you’d think 100 max.

I think Stewart is a “set and forget, no risk” pick (every player has injury risk), so I’d go like for like which is Docherty personally. Just lock in that 108-110 average I reckon. Similar to picking Oliver in mids and Dunkley up forward.

At his price point and with his upside, I'd rather be one of the 43% that have him than the 57% that don't.

Safe pick if your lower ownership players are performing well comparative to other teams.

It's about your risk appetitite I suppose. If picking one or the other, with them both at approx $500k and not being proven keepers, I'd probably rather go with the majority, so that if it doesn't pan out as hoped, I'm not having to make an extra trade compared to everyone else.

That being said, I don't need to take huge risks at the moment as I'm in an OK spot, so I'm probably biased towards Daicos, who I think has the bigger ceiling, too.

Under Ratts, nope. Under Ross, depends if he has a ****** for his tagging role. I am 50-50. If he's picked next week i expect his job security to be safe.

He can't be the same as before and play older guys .
He needs to play younger ones .
