I reckon Touk goes 115-120 this season, not ~125 again.

I just think Rowell and Anderson have improved and are doing more around the contest.

Obviously 115-120 for ~$630k is great, but I feel like I don't have to rush to get him.

They have a better run coming up, so I may eat my words, but I reckon I'll be able to get him him at around $650k after his bye in round 14 is required.

Operation "get rookies off field ASAP" is in full swing, and there's lots of good looking value options around.
There's nothing about his underlying numbers that reflects that though. Pretty much everything is holding up from previous years. Tackling, clearances, contested numbers.

His scoring so far matches stretches from previous years where he'd tick along getting low 100's, but those 150-160 point games always come that boost up his scoring. Rowell and Anderson doing better prob helps Touk, being the lone ranger in midfield isn't usually beneficial for scoring unless you are pure inside which Touk isn't. You want good help without necessarily playing alongside super premo scoring mids nabbing an extreme amount of points. Most of the super premo mids we've seen have played alongside other mids who have avg a lot more than Rowell and Anderson will
So maybe just the one trade for me. Amartey to Ziebell plus switching Tha Shiznit to the D

Your cash gen must be good.

Why is everyone in love with Touk this week?
Proven 120+ avg mid in low 600k. None of the other guys with his scoring potential may get that low all season, or if they do not for long.

It's even worse actually, closer to 128 current price based on a 5100 BE. That's not for him to be value it's purely to break even for his price, so he would need to outperform every players average from last yr from now to end of season
Where are you getting 5100? Based on starting prices it's around 120 (Touk started 662k from a 120 avg). Based on the formula to calc prices during the season so far it's closer to 122. The number is closer to 5333 from what I can tell (though this still isn't exact). 5100 doesn't work to calc new prices and BE this year, 5333 is a lot more accurate. The supercoach talk website has it at 5505.74, which also seems way off, but matches starting prices to last years avgs.

BE high enough where we won’t move far. Neale higher ceiling and low BE?

With these proven 120+ avg guys who knows who has the higher ceiling on any particular year. Last year Neale had 3 150+ games vs Touks 5. Albeit Neale had a 198 and 187, where Touks highest were a 167 and 160. I think Touk is preferred purely due to slightly cheaper price and upcoming fixture.

I started with Touk, so my interest is in Laird or Neale, but neither fit my upgrade plans just yet.

Generally you'd be all over Moyle, bottom priced playing first ruck should go 60+ easily. But there has been very little info on what is keeping Witts out it's too risky.

Witts didn't train today so maybe Moyle plays again, but then what?
Suns desperate for a win vs North, wouldn't surprise if Witts plays this week either.

Williams and Roberts feel safer.

Would’ve been a starter for me, if not for his interrupt preseason.
Yep, same here. Was firmly locked in my starting side until that injury.

I would get him in this week if I didn't have an eye on future upgrades.

It's basically:

Touk + Day
vs
Zerrett/Sicily/Sinclair + Day + Cogs/Butters

You would expect some spike scores in this next run of matches, where Suns should get some wins:

North :heavycheck:
Tigers :heavycheck:
Dees (his last 3 against them are 140, 142, 142)
Eagles :heavycheck:

Out: Amartey, Caminiti, Menzie
In: Johnson, Williams, Ziegull

Didn’t want to use 3 this week but need warm bodies with so many out. Day Green and Saad on my bench this week suspended or injured :drunk:

Really want to get Touk in but going Ginbey & Chandler to Parish & Williams.

If I get Touk in, will inhibit me from getting anyone at 540k next week like Sinclair and I think Parish will do fine as Zerrett is normally the one who gets tagged.

Think Williams has the best JS out of him, Johnson & Roberts too.

Just have to fade Oliver and Touk until the bye rounds which will be tough...

Damn, that's a red flag. How sure are we of a role change for Ziebell when Hall comes back?
i dont think there will be a role change for ziebell (more likely sheezel is the one moved), but ziebell will lose kick ins, rebound oppurtunities and some kick mark seagull points to hall who has a tendency to just kick the ball long at first oppurtunity

Cmac + Ginbey + Baker
To
Parish + Roberts + Williams
Day and green on the pine. Surprisingly went up to about 2.5k overall with day on the bench last week. I doubt I’ll stay there for long with how often my players are copping suspensions.

Have elected to hold Ginbey and Caminti for now.

Outs
Cole, MacKenzie, O Baker

Ins
Liam Baker, Roberts, Williams

Team post trades.

Bye schedule, draw and is probably at the cheapest price you’ll get him.

Ashcroft, McKenzie, McKenna > Bont, Williams, Roberts

Could go with Stewart instead of Bont but need a premo mid more.

Would prefer Neale to Bont but that would mean trading out Ginby instead of McKenna and I believe Ginbey will make more cash while scoring much better.

100k and 28 trades left.

Waiting on teams for rookie selections, but looking at a combination of Ginbey, Mackenzie, Baker, Caminiti out.

Williams and Roberts/Johnson and a premo. If Roberts/Johnson look shaky I can still upgrade in 2 trades.

I think for team balance the best option is a FWD or MID premo. If I trade Ginbey, Sheezel/Zieball will be D4.

Looking at Cogs vs Taranto vs Gulden. Or a mid in the 550-580k bracket - Parish, Trac, Macrae. Lloyd is an option down back if I was to keep north gulls forward for now.

Any other ideas?

Get rid of Caminiti now

By the time he comes back Membrey would have played a few games and then King is not far away.

Can't see Caminiti regaining his spot in the team once his suspension is over.

I'm planning on trading him but had other things to consider this week.

If I punt him now it leaves me short for getting the Baker upgrade in. Was initially going to get rid of him and Ginbey but decided to keep Ginbey, Cole is gone for how god knows how long and Oskar has pretty much peaked so Caminti gets a stay of execution this week.

Have been offered Ward for my J Daicos in draft. The extra forward would be nice but i am wary that ward cannot maintain a 90 average. what do we think?
