Moraes has the talent to be an absolute star, he didn’t kick on as much as everyone projected but he still was consistent and had a few big games.
Should develop further once in our system. Happy to take him at this stage.

However I think Clarke should be the priority.

After we just got rid of the insta w@nker, and the trades of Jacko and Caleb, I think a lot of consensus is we need speed.
Moraes is stated with a good footy brain and runs hard – he finished top-10 in the 2km Combine.
If he's got a good footy he's already way ahead of smithy, Plus Moraes plays a position of need, we need a set of gut running wingers.

As I said before he also killed it in the agility and vertical jump tests.

If he follows the great Libba around, he will hopefully learn to be elite with his clean hands while learning to play inside mid.

Libba can show him how to used his body to best effect....Libba ain't known for his vertical jumps or agility.
Elite extraction of the pill, tackling and shear determination.

doesn't that feel unders considering what North (likely future top 10) coughed up for a pick that will be only two spots earlier and a F2

I've only seen game vision from one game but Alger doesn't seem to be the crumbing type which is what I think we need.
Has anyone got any better info on him?
With Angove off the board I'm wondering whether a rookie fly on Davey Motlop is the way to go.

Likewise there's only one Norf deal every trade period.

Sounds like it is actually Richmond in the box set for a juicy deal from Essendon, not us. I wouldn't mind one more pick in the second round range. Too many players appeal to me. Though we could still get some form of a deal from some one.

Richmond might be more interested in another future first rather than a collection of seconds, leaving the Essendon offer for us.

We need quick high half forwards. If people here ever want us moving on from Vandermeer, then Alger is the best available option to do so

It's a pretty wild draft. Feels like the 30-50 options are more plentiful than on day one. Hope we take that Essendon offer. Feels like we'd be shooting fish in a barrel.

do you mean do they play a variety of different positions? Because they are very close to the same player, Ough a bit more consistent with finding the ball & Boxshall has a really talented athletic profile
