Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Dow and Fisher traded takes us to six outgoings.
I think Mirkov will be lucky to hold onto a list spot. Durdin will be replaced if we can find someone better, I’d prefer to keep him.
Marchbank and Cuningham still not signed but should be retained.
There’s enough flexibility to improve on what we have.
We signed him on a very low contract when he was in our best 22 and had had a career best year.I know Philp had 4 years but disappointed he didn't get a run at it, maybe a rookie if not at Carlton somewhere.
Stunned LoB was given a 2 year deal and had a year to run. Silly.
Hindsight recruiting sucks, but that's one that really hurtsForget Fogarty, Zac Bailey went a few spots later

If we're offered a late first for Fish, im driving him to Arden St myself, and shouting him a bacon and eggs feast at the Embassy Cafe on the way, as well. You would have thought fisher and Dow would request trades by now if they really wanted to leave… I’ve got a feeling this is more about their managers than the players themselves looking to go elsewhere. Think we might get something pretty good back for fisher if he doesn’t request a trade formally. Wouldn’t be surprised if we get a late first or early second. Dow would probably be a third…
best hurry up.........If we're offered a late first for Fish, im driving him to Arden St myself, and shouting him a bacon and eggs feast at the Embassy Cafe on the way, as well.
True, but id probably prefer Durdin to him as a Key Defender. His strengths lie in interception or punching the ball away. I believe we are covered in this stock of player. I get the impression the club were hoping he would be Jones version 2 and Weiterings partner in crime. Unfortunately doesn't appear it's going to work that wayHe might get injured
certainly deserves to be given a crack at it....
Are we certain they're both going to be retained?Dow and Fisher traded takes us to six outgoings.

If geelong got a first rounder for Jordan clark then how is it far fetched that fisher, who’s played 100 games and is versatile, is worth around the same?If we're offered a late first for Fish, im driving him to Arden St myself, and shouting him a bacon and eggs feast at the Embassy Cafe on the way, as well.
Yes but as a rookie only a portion of his salary (50%) counts towards the salary cap.Didn't LOB have another year? Seems we may have paid him out

SOS to sign Philp as a DFA
Cos you’ve been brainwashed by Bigfooty.why do I feel a greater sense of loss with 2 than 25? discuss............
As far as a KPD, Weitering actually does and has needed a proper key defender partner since he has been drafted, I’m not stating the obvious just for the now Coons, this has been one of the areas amongst of our list build that I’ve suggested we needed to address within the 5 years time I’ve been on here…Not late, but now is the time. If we commit to the Campo boys, there will not likely be a chance next year..

He's not a genuine KPD height but Caleb Marchbank played that role well during the finals. Thought that he gave height to Hipwood but played him well last week. His default position is to attack. As far as a KPD, Weitering actually does and has needed a proper key defender partner since he has been drafted, I’m not stating the obvious just for the now Coons, this has been one of the areas amongst of our list build that I’ve suggested we needed to address within the 5 years time I’ve been on here…
I understand the list build is difficult, and one you can’t obtain all your needs in a particular draft year but a process you need to obtain the right players for your list balance through the draft, no matter the position…
Just for the record, I’m very happy with how we’ve gone as a team this year, a heap of positives for many players whom have improved substantially, and in some cases other club favorites although being long time Injury prone, have managed to come back from looking like their careers were done whom now seem to have fortunately for the best to have hung on…
Speed, run and foot skills throughout the midfield and flanks have been and still is a deficiency we actually possess compared to the better teams amongst the competition, another genuine KPD to partner Weitering is the major problem for us atm…
Binns, maybe a few games if he continues doing as well with his development, all depends on how well we’re traveling next season form and injury wise…Any thoughts on chances of these guys having a game in 2024? Why/ why not?

It's an 80k discount outside the cap per rookie (up to 6), so we don't get the discount when cutting him, because we just get it on the guy taking his spot.Yes but as a rookie only a portion of his salary (50%) counts towards the salary cap.
