Add 2 x SSP Rookies (Cincotta, O'Keeffe)

Remove 2 Retirements (Plowman, Ed C)

Would leave us with 3 spots vacant overall, but with a requirement to upgrade two rookies. This might allow us (for example) to recruit Elijah Hollands, take a draft pick at pick 16, and have one spot spare - perhaps a second draft pick, or upgrade another current rookie and pick a new rookie.
If we want more than 3 new players, we'd need to cut/trade deeper.

Disagree (well, at least, they certainly can be in our best 22), all three had lengthy injury issues this year...
Was clear at least Crippa and Bam Bam were well off their best (fitness wise, pace wise too) in the finals' games....
2 of those three can readily spend some time forward too. And should.

Cripps was wearing a mattress under his jersey all finals. Shame he wasn't at his best but still contributed.
Kennedy shouldn't have played over Dow in the finals. Clearly wasn't up to match fitness and/or touch.

Unlike many thoughts, it seems Dow and Fish have some suiters.
Most importantly, it’s coaches with runs on the board.
Personally will be sad to see them both elsewhere, so unlike previous years let’s hope we;
1. Aren’t cutting too deep

If it’s the second one, then I’d worry for our club if we didn’t recruit players because they were a bit knobby.

Just like you disagreed with the comment you responded to, it would be easy to say we lost due to a few other reasons too.
We smashed Brisbane in the first quarter but were inefficient, like many other times this year, we were unable to capitalise on huge amounts of inside 50s.
Add to that, in a half of footy, we were only able to manage 1 goal, petrol tickets being low or not, our inability to hit targets inside forward 50 is what I think cost us.
That’s something a side that is tired, can still do.

I feel like he would have moments in the VFL as that high HF and would kick a couple and then get injured.

Honey looked great early and clearly has AFL traits, just couldn't seem to develop past the initial promise stage.
Surprised with LOB, keeping him on would've been a free hit. Had a good year last year and just got overtaken this year by all 3 of Hollands, Acres and Cotters. I'm guessing maybe there is interest elsewhere as a delisted free agent.

The lions got Ashcroft who was pick 1 wasn’t he and Fletcher about 15, the same year as getting Dunkley and Gunston, we shouldn’t be worried about paying for academy players
