On Blue Abroad tonight, a guy from the cheer squad, said the banner on Friday night will announce a membership new tally. He mentioned 9K ahead of 84K.
May be 95+, or 100k?

The guy was Nic Wishart, who runs the cheersquad socials and is one of the leaders.
He said the banner which is currently being driven up to Brisbane has a membership figure on it for Round 0, so either we've crossed a record or 96k or we've hit 100k already.
The club tends to boast about member numbers the afternoon before a match if we've broken the record, so expect a club news post Friday arvo.

Last year we had 88,777 on the 5th of May. So we are about 2 months ahead of last year but membership numbers slowed down a lot during the losing streak and probably why we didn’t get to 100k
