  • Pick 5 Adelaide select
    Sid Draper

    From Draft Central:
Draper, clearly South Australia’s top prospect this year, gets to play for the club he grew up supporting. Above all else, his professionalism makes him a sure selection and his ability is breathtaking at times. He’ll likely be a fan favourite for the balance of flair and substance he offers. The trait which immediately stands out with Draper is his turn of speed. He posted the top agility test time nationwide during the 2023 preseason (7.80 seconds), and it translates on-field where he is near-impossible to lay a hand on. His lightning acceleration makes him an asset in bringing contested ball to the outside. Draper's hands on the inside are supremely clean. What sets Draper apart even further is his work rate. He is capable of repeat sprint efforts and gets from contest to contest effectively. For all his brilliance on the field, Draper also fits the bill off it. He is a diligent and thoughtful in his preparation throughout the week, investing heavily in his football to get the best out of himself.

  • Yikes I was expecting Allan to be gone by now which is why I traded down Eagles pick whoops 🤦‍♂️

But that blunder allows Port Adelaide to swoop in

Pick 16 - Port Adelaide - Bo Allan
    191cm/ Midfielder-Half back

Bo Allan is the prototype of the ideal modern player he is tall/athletic/competitive. He is ready to play AFL next year and although he does still need some development in terms of composure and top end midfield craft Allan has all the tools in his arsenal to potentially be the best player from this draft when all is said and done

    Pick 17
  • Pick 20
  • Pick 20 Harrison Oliver
Harrison is fast, competitive and a beautiful left foot kick.
He will start off as a small defender who can nullify and provide attack from the back half but I think he has the capability of moving to the wing in the future.
Faull and Shanahan options here but really not what the bullies need here.
Oliver may not be a sexy pick but I think injuries aside he is a 150 game player.
The sort of players the bombers could use.
The other option was to bid on Marshall but I think Oliver is a bit ahead of him and didn’t want to risk a non matching bid.
