Akuei has been our best defender…
Kemps been terrible.
Durdin has been good, kept his man quiet.
Lemmey thankfully moved to the forward line.
Wilson has had the ball but also turned it over.
Carroll has been scrappy, but by far our best mid (though not a big a bar)
Moir and Monahan have been mostly unsighted.
Mirkov and O’Keefe have tapped to Werribee’s mids all day and they can’t mark a ball.
Binns has been fine. He’s hit a level which he may not pass this year.

You’re right. But it doesn’t need to be half a season. It could be as much as three or four games.
I just posed it as an idea. Not wedded to it. And I doubt it will happen.

Carroll and Binns certainly putting their hands up.
The reserves getting cut up by the same out of the back transition play that the main team gets hurt by. If we don’t win the contested we are stuffed on the outside.

Some supporters wanting Moir in the Seniors, but is struggling to get a touch at this level. Has been disappointing.
All the hard work for nothing. Werribee back out to 34 points. We’ve turned it over countless times. And they have people who can mark the ball in their forward 50. Even the ruckman.

We can’t win the contested ball and the moment they get it on the outside they have the structure and composure to get it to a forward for an easy goal.

Anyone know why Ollie was withdrawn. Is he injured or just being rested (managed)?
40 points at three quarter time.
The same problems with our AFL team is present in our VFL team. We get sucked into the ball far too often and are beaten by quicker players on the outside.
If we’re not switched on, if our pressure isn’t right up there, we get sliced apart.
