I dont come to gloat because we have our fair share of failures in drafting, but was just reviewing the 2017 draft and thought what a strong second round with one glaring failure in Will Walker, can honestly say i have never heard of him but the next 10 players taken are all guns, 6 All Australians.. Its interesting as 2017 would be considered one of the weaker top ends of the draft but obviously batted very deep.

How did someone so impaired manage to dial in to trade radio?

I can't see the Saints agreeing to that deal because it would be a huge loss for them (over 650pts) but who knows, on draft night they may have a particular player in mind and to move up the board, our pick 2 and a third rounder or future 3rd rounder may be enough.

Remember, they got burned on their last back to back picks

Our recruiters really screwed up in failing to predict Will Walker's career ending injury.

Wasn't there a story that Cats spooked us into taking Walker? We should've taken Kelly, that's who looked the much better prospect at the time. I don't remember Balta being mentioned at all. Or Taylor.

Does not surprise me. A north supporter said to Dwayne on SEN something about giving up pick 2 for Darling.
Some supporters of any club have NFI sometimes on trade value lol.

I dont think anyone knows where PC’s ceiling is. He had something like 8 shots on goal in a game this year? He missed a bunch, probably should have ended up with 5. Would like to see Owies have that much pill. I also think PC is better defensively too which he needs to improve on
