They are the ones that agreed to it
You mean to say that Preston had a choice of when to play and THEY AGREED to play Friday and inconveniencing their squad, volunteers and supporters by making them take time off work and playing at that unfriendly time?? For those that didnt make the trip playing it midday Friday would have made it difficult to view.

So they agreed to play at a terrible time knowing that they had the option to play it at a more suitable day ? Thats not very nice of the Preston committee, Yould be pissed knowing that they could have played it at a better time but chose not to.

In the end both clubs are supposed to agree on their times. Sydney would have put it to Preston, preston would have said yes. They probably have Friday night in Sydney, not bad for the young blokes ;)

I reckon they played it early as the afl would have put them on a plane back to Melbourne.
It would have been a Thursday night instead of a Friday night as well, silly me.

They played it early because of the AFL game, but yeah they probably stayed up there Wednesday night and flew back Thursday post game. It's a hard one though, Sydney would have wanted to align as close to their AFL game as possible. Shit for the NBullants to be fixtured on the same week they would have to play mid-week but making a fixture is already ****ed as it is without trying to think about that as well

I think most standalone players have agreements w Friday games., taking a few Friday annual leave days at worst, it’s not a big deal. The players love thecFriday games because it frees up the weekend for fo4 them.
