Don’t care who we draft…. Just someone that actually gets on the park will do
Should we draft someone with no injury history and see if we can add some or should we go with the known quality again and get someone who already knows how to get injured?

1 of each like Lalor & Smillie for mine.

It's clear we can get the job done no matter who we draft so I'm pretty comfortable that whoever we pick will miss most of their first season
Get some Serpell high knee running into them day 1 and won't be an issue

If Greeves has a big day today I’m all in.

Thrillem and Greeves.
only thing against greeves is look how our big boys lalor & smillie have faired under the serpell regime...

and that's before factoring in the increased injury risk of high dosages of TRT

but even with that he's easily top 4 for me

Big game today. Going to be bit of rain about I believe.

Greeves should dominate contested ball, can he use the ball well and can he push forward and hit the scoreboard.

Grlj needs to step up after that first game. He's the perfect fit for us with his speed and agility but if he can't actually use it at this level then it's hard to take him top 4.

CDT perfect conditions for him to have lots of ruck contests and follow up work. Can he drop back and take marks in defence to help out? Can he rest forward and be a threat?

Farrow I'd like to see him in the midfield again today. He's great down back, beautiful kick, moves well etc. He's had 1 only OK and 1 pretty solid game as a midfielder and 1 excellent game at half back.

Others to watch: Swadling, Fred, Burton, Emmett, Dalton.
Up to 20mm rain and 25-40km/h wind could make for an ugly game

One of the standout prospects for 2026, Cody Walker has been playing for Vic Country as a bottom ager and was quiet in his first couple of Champs games, perhaps adjusting to the higher level. This was something of a breakout for him, finding plenty of the ball and developing the confidence to use his elite power and athleticism at contests and on the spread.

"With his draft stock skyrocketing off the back of his dominance at state level, Sheehan has handed Sharp a stellar comparison to Port Adelaide’s former No.1 pick Jason Horne-Francis."
JHF is a pretty tame comparison for Sheahan. Voss would have been my expectation
