I could see 5 and 6 for 1.

it depends on who wants what.

If Essendon think Duursma is close to the next Bont they might do it.

If West Coast get 5 and 6 and want 3 from RFC for CDT , (they will know (certainly live for sure) because good idea who Essendon wants and picks at one and West coast have 2), I could see RFC doing a trade giving away 3 to West Coast for 5 and something and West Coast will have a later pick(s), assuming West Coast want CDT

Essendon going after your pick 3 would be a goldmine for you depending on their target. I reckon they want CDT and that were telling them we want him at 2, even though we may not.

Typical of the consistently excellent form Taylor found this season. As disruptive as always in the air and on the ground, throwing himself into aerial contests and tackles. He found a decent amount of the footy but was quite conservative with his ball use, still lacking some of the confidence that he developed later in the season.

No doubt, I think I’ve said this before but we are known for this stuff. Not even an interview in person but draft them anyway. There’s a reason Twomey keeps having Duursma-CDT 1-2 in the open draft.

Interesting strategy, especially when you are assured of Picks 1 and 2, and hence know exactly how you're going to spend them. I would've thought an initial line of communication might be a reasonable idea.

personally, I hardly have him in the top 20, but I fear another Pavlich f up

i simply rate quite a number higher and some multiple levels higher

I'd like to know how Cumming did in the 2km. Reports on his tank by draft watchers this year have varied significantly.

Sounds like if Duursma and CDT are available we will take them. Rhy referenced a couple of guys with high ceilings in the top of the draft. Cal named Robey, Grlj, X Taylor and Sharpe as the next group from the open draft and Gieschan agreed but said they still need to finalise ranking and that they are in considerations alongside 10-15 guys our picks, Spoke pretty highly of the academy tied guys, so think we are all but certain to bid

Repeating myself, but, if Humphrey is determined to get out of GC (family matter supposedly) and the club agree, then surely he goes to who can offer GC the best trade.

He can’t expect to pick and choose. It should be GC’s decision where he goes.

I hope like hell our people are talking to his manager. Has the right age profile and it helps more than just us:

3 and 4 to them. A pick back the other way for Grjl or similar if we wanted.

Gives Carlton the best chance of receiving high picks for Curnow. He can go to the Gold Coast, which helps compensate for losing Humphrey.

On top of getting Petracca as well.

Carlton get high pick/s and possibly an Ainsworth (don’t know, would depend how they rate him).

Actually, always thought Curnow was best suited up the ground a bit and roaming. Has a big tank; could play a similar role to Jeremy Cameron
