Possibly because I've seen more of him but he's my favourite of the Wright "brothers"

Has more composure to use his skills in a midfield role than what I've seen of Josh Lindsay too.

I think both he and Lindsay have similar issues through the middle. They can get their hands on the ball in contested situations but don't have that natural craft to extract it and do something with it. Both tend to just barrel forward and get tackled. They're both much better as the first receiver I think, where they already have some space to work in. I agree that Rory is better as a first receiver than Lindsay to my eyes, quicker with his decision making. I think lindsay benefits a lot from the time and space that a defender gets, to survey the field and pick his options more deliberately.

Honestly watching TDK makes me think CDT wouldn’t be a bad pick @ 1 or 3/4 if he keeps this up. I’m assuming WCE would definitely pick Cody Curtain and Fred Rodriguez.

Fair enough. But I don’t see Richmond winning flags with 23 year olds. Look at when we won flags, our main players were what 25/26 years old?

We also picked midfield talent that actually wants to fight for the ball, outside Wardlaw & LDU all the North mids are seagulls who thrive on uncontested possessions.

Yeah I reckon, I would love to be a fly on the wall when it comes to draft decisions early on this year to know what there thinking. Ultimately we just are playing a guessing game. I mean realistically we have 4 options. Draft 2 mids, draft 1 ruck 1 mid, draft 1 mid/ruck + trade pick for player or f1st or trade both picks for player or future picks. Maybe more options but that’s all I can think of. North on the other hand have just gone mid every draft. They’ve definitely Ignored their needs.
