So is Membrey, maybe we should try to recruit him too, he kicks a lot straighter for the Pies than he did for us the campaigner.

He's a young player for them. Everyone gets excited when the kids play well.

What shits me about Membrey is he withdrew from our biggest game in a decade and our fans and club stood by him and stood up for him with compassion and understanding. Then he rubs it in our faces by carrying on like a douchebag when we played against him this year.

Lost a lot of respect for him in that game tbh.

I've made my peace with Membrey. As others have said elsewhere, in the Sharman vs Members choice we need to go with Sharman for our future.

Membrey was always going to be very solid as a third/fourth target in a great team. I reckon he wouldn't be having nearly as good a season if he was still with us and we'd probably be lamenting having him in the team over a kid.

I wish him well and if Pies win the flag it will soften the blow.

Membrey was an excellent kick for us over the years. Probably our most reliable.
Maybe not in the last year or so.

Also, Nostradamus didn’t tell us that King was going to miss the season.
Not sure Membrey would have have helped us win a heap more games either. Have a very soft spot for Timmy, but was the right decision for our future. Good luck to him.

All that stuff is overblown. St Kilda hasn’t been good for 15 years because of shit coaches, shit development and self destructive behavior. Nothing to do with NGA’s.

Footys crap. Let’s be honest. It’s hard enough watching a full St Kilda game let alone watching more than a quarter of any other game. I’m watching more rugby league with my son.

It's what happens when the governing body manipulates the draft for the benefit of a few teams over a number of years.
Even if they stopped all the favouritism today, this will happen for the next 3 to 5 seasons. The occasional team like Hawthorn or possibly the Saints or Adelaide may make finals but the AFL have got the teams they want in the 8.

Luckily I am a Canterbury fan. Dead set ladt three seasons ago, but because the NRL can't manipulate who gets the best players, they have recruited within the SC and are now top of the ladder.

I saw Membrey spray plenty of kicks at goal for us over the years including a game where he kicked 0.5 against Freo in 2018.

You also didn't need to be Nostradamus to know that King is injury prone so we needed an experienced key forward back up.

There's no use crying over spilt milk though, it's good to see Membrey doing well but I just wish that it wasn't at Collingwood.
