I love how you think you are the spokes person for the entire forum. If you dont like what I write put me on ignore, dont read my posts. Why do you believe you are correct in attempting to filter what others want to discuss? No matter what condescending rubbish you post, I wont change my opinion of questioning things I believe the club are doing really poorly.

You need to have a look at the "false consensus effect", also known as "consensus bias", as much as you may believe you are the forum oracle the reality will hurt.
good to see me calling you out puts me as an Oracle 🤣🤣🤣

do you really have this much of a sook when someone asks you to calm down and chill out? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

geez pal, take a chill pill. life's not that hard

Ben Long is at his third club.
Maybe the issue was with Ben Long who barely put in a four quarter performance for us.
It's getting a tedious as Acres finally doing something at his third club.
Nope.
We drafted him and now he’s at the Suns.
And like most young players they are not consistent.
I think he was harshly judged.

Funny how we offered 4 year extensions to McKenzie and Allison, but not to the player who’s actually developed into a really good player we could use right now. We do shoot ourselves in the foot at ( many) times.

I thought he was Bulldogs listed?
Held to account? Calm down director g2011.
Definitely don't discuss how many four quarter efforts he had for us.

You are the one having a shit attack at people talking about one of our ex players who is currently in AA form that we got FA back from. For a club that struggled to draft for 20 years losing one of the few that worked out was a stuff up. Some of you guys that tied yourselves to the shit administrators of the past can't live in reality without freaking out.

And poorly coached

I reckon Coops was heading the same way if we hadn't changed things up. No positional consistency, easily punished for the team performances etc. Lyon probably saved his career.

Except Makenzie's extension was 3 years and occurred multiple years before Long left. SHoulnt be want the club learning from mistakes of the past and not putting themselves in a situation where that can be repeated?

And Allison was a 2 year extension. As much as he never amounted to anything, giving a KPP taken in the first round an extension beyond their first contract is standard practice because we all know it takes longer for talls to develop. That again is different than offering a long deal to someone 6 years into their career who still hadn't cemented one role in the side.

Didn’t Allison get two extensions?
Apologies thought McKenzie was four. Because we were all flabbergasted at the time.

Regarding learning from mistakes re keeping Long on, it’s a commentary on the people in charge at the time. He had the talent and he had the toughness. He was just thrown around everywhere. Agree with Gringo, this was on the coaches. I have no doubt if he’d gone to the Bulldogs, who wanted him, he’d have been the player there that we are seeing now.

This is the one player leaving I do really regret.

Can't wait for the melts when Ben Paton strings together a few good games with the Swans in 2026.
I hope he does.
Ben was looking the goods for us until Roughead did his thing.
He deserves a good career.

No, Allison just got the extension. Drafted 2020, delisted 2024.

Long was thrown around because at the time, he wasn't good enough to warrant a consistent spot in one role in the team. As much as players need consistency, they also need to earn it through performance which he wasn't doing. It's fantastic that he is playing so well 3 years into his new club but that doesn't mean he warranted that contract at the time. The fact that it's taken him three years, failing in the position they recruited him to play and a new GC coach to play this well suggests it wasn't just St Kilda behind him being inconsistent and maybe Long himself needed to change some things to be a better player.

We won't rest until the club makes no mistakes!

People getting sick of the same mistake/s being mentioned for the umpteenth time aren't endorsing the mistake, they're just not interested in reading the same thing over and over again. If it's been been written hundreds of times why write it again?

How does it hold anyone to account? What does it change?

There should be an AI rule that traps the phrase "one flag in 150 years" and moves it to a thread where people who live joyously wallowing in failure can meet and interact.

If he becomes an AA level player we will. That's generally how it works. And if the club starts playing regular finals and looking close to aflag no-one will give a shit.

We are a few results off being equal third last on the ladder 15 years into a rebuilding phase. If we can't criticise the administration for their failings at this point we might as well expect not to have any input that so ever. They can lose fans and wonder why no-one gives a shit about turning up.

Why bother coming on here if you just want your own opinion mirrored back. The only thing more bring than people complaining is the people complaining about complaining.

Where did I say I want my opinion mirrored?
I said I was sick of reading the same pointless things written over and over again.
But I can understand why you would be a defender of it.

I said I want to read different things.
Grow up.

You have a constant whinge about shit other people post. Maybe add something interesting instead of having a sook.

You go and watch training so that makes you an expert on all things and the self elected defender of St Kilda. Do you ever pause to think that most likely makes you more biased?

I'm sorry if I am not blinded by loyalty as you and others obviously are!
It's good to have the SteeleSaints back that we all know and love 😂

You may not be blinded by loyalty but you're blinded by something much stronger

Anybody tell me why Sir Doug Nicholls round is over 2 weeks and why only some clubs use Indigenous names?
I think with the name thing a lot of the Melbourne teams would just be "Naarm" since they're all based within a few kilometres of each other.

Every one needs a drunk uncle that tells your Greens voting niece how much they'd love Trump to sort out our pussy politicians with fist and looks down your wife's top while downing VB long necks at the Christmas table.
