Sinclair old man calf last year, hammy now, was looking like a rock solid pick too geez
Yep was a lock, hadn’t left my side once. Listened to the episode on the Coaches Panel 50 most relevant pod for Sinclair today so maybe I take the blame on this one. They spent way too long mentioning how durable he is. One missed game in 3 years or something along those lines

Calf injuries always worry me after they killed my man Deledio.

But Sinclair came back so well from his last year, think I have to scratch him off after this unfortunately.

Farcical, the number of injured players already and they haven't even played a game. Don't count match-sims as games, they're just glorified training sessions.

Saints (and other clubs for that matter) need to have a serious look at the preparation the players are getting as to why so many injuries. I've always had doubts about the quality of physical training, physio, medical etc. in the AFL. OK, collision injuries you accept. But the number of soft tissue injuries is way out of proportion.

Also, what does it say about the medical here when players are going overseas for treatment? Are we that far behind?

/Rant

Off now to find a replacement for Sinclair.

we touched on this same time last year, this time of year they start to heavy load them and ping goes the weasel

imo, they have too much time off in off season. power of unions i suppose, and the conditioning is spread over too short a time

TOUK’S INJURY SCARE

Gold Coast midfielder Touk Miller has been sent for scans on his right knee in what the club says is a precautionary measure after the 28-year-old sat out Thursday’s match simulation.

Miller spent the bulk of Thursday’s session on the sideline and could be seen gesturing to his right leg while in conversation with head coach Damien Hardwick and midfield coach Shaun Grigg.

Miller was sent for scans on Friday morning meaning he was absent from the leadership group announcement, which unveiled Noah Anderson as the club’s new stand-alone captain for 2025.

Depending on the result of the scans, Miller is expected to be on a modified training program next week as he works toward full fitness ahead of the February 20 practice matches against Brisbane and Collingwood.

Shame on Sinclair.
Suppose you could back him in to do a Zorko, but think I'll be looking elsewhere.
Once the old man stuff starts up, doesn't usually stop

Maybe if we taxed oil and gas companies properly like they do in Qatar we'd have money for their level of medical/fitness facilities.

Scoops - accept no imitations, superior or otherwise.

Reality is, zero point doing anything other than getting a feel for the potential value options in PS, a fair old percentage never even gets to the starting line
Just wait for Rd 0 and crowd source like there's no termurra
