Aleer and Bergman look like okay players but you are giving up your only elite talent, probably a top 4 pick and get back a couple of picks in the early 20s and two players that are not the same standard that you lose. We need to get more top end quality and less depth not just bulk numbers.

I'd demand Butters and a second round pick and we'd still end up behind on the deal. Nas will be an absolute star. Like giving up young Bont or Danger for Tom Mitchell.

They need to get him signed, even if it's just to FA for now.

NWM is only dealing with us, he’s backing himself in to maximise his value (as you would knowing you’re the best player at a club with enormous cap space). He has not met with Adelaide, or the Port Adelaide. Yet. I’ve been told this won’t change.
Gets done around the time of the midseason bye week when we table our best and final offer.

Just got back from the brothel. One of the hookers I banter with there told me Nas is definitely staying. Apparently the woman that does her nails said her cousin is in commercial real estate and said Nas has just gone thirds in a St Kilda restaurant with TDK and Ross Lyon. It will be called "Nasiah the messiah and the insignificant others."

If we accept picks for NAS, we're confirming our status as a feeder club - get picks, select blokes like Gresham, Battle and NAS, watch them walk, repeat......

I've said this before - NAS has an opportunity to show some real leadership, sign the big deal and bring others with him. Dont wait for the club to "prove" they deserve to keep you, you be the catalyst of saying "I believe in the direction and the program and I'm here for the long haul" and inspire that sentiment in others, both inside the club, and with those we're chasing.
