Problem with Zac is that he's made out of glass

I think Bergman has had like one significant injury his entire career and I think has played every game the past 3 seasons

Some of the footage shown on First Crack looked like Dangerfield

Good thing is that worse case scenario he ends up a darn good hybrid defender
Butters is made of glass 😂

And comparing Bergman to Dangerfield really time for a lie down Mr Bergman

We've all been there its out of desparation to attract decent midfield talent. Its interesting that Port have swapped Bergman and Rozee's roles. Sometimes players can get pidgeon holed by clubs - perhaps Bergman may become a reasonable midfield option time will tell. Either way we could do with his contested marking abilities all over the ground, but the Dangerfield comparison was stretching the imagination.

We have to remember Port are the absolute champions of making their players look better just before they trade them!

Thought this was pretty funny Kane is 'All In' on Bombers but thinks the saints list has holes..

View attachment 2311942
1. Ross Lyon & co > Brad Scott (not subjective, purely based on record)

2. Young Personnel

  • King & Owens > Caddy
  • Higgins >> Kako
  • Phillipou & Travaglia > Caldwell & Derham
  • Tauru > Reid
  • NWM >> Martin

3. Capital in 2025 draft

  • Pick 7
  • Fincher NGA
  • Compromised draft anyway

4. Massive Salary cap

- St Kilda have been reported to have the most salary cap room ever in history (which means above the bombers)

5. 2025 performance

- Have beaten 2 x Prelim finalist despite injuries

6. Age demo

- equal 3rd youngest list

Neither list is worth going 'all in' but it's funny how artificially Kane thinks the Bombers are ready to go and the saints aren't
If the Carlton game is any indication, I thought we look like headless chooks and would have been flogged by a better team than them. Regardless of what Kane thinks, I think Essendon look a better team- and teams are what wins, not a few individuals. Unless we sort out the sh*t midfield situation and get more strength in the forward and back half, then we're treading water

Comparing a generational player to an everyday honest back flanker WhO CoUlD pLaY MiD.

Come on Alan, you're better than that
Butters is made of glass 😂

I'm comparing Bergman's moments to Dangerfield as a young player. Not Bergman's career. Massive difference

If Bergman isn't a good kick I don't want a bar of him.

For nearly 15 years I've been watching the team I follow turn the ball over and make it easy for the opposition.

Bring in players that are clean with the ball and can hit targets... then we'll actually get some consistency in our game.

We arnt in a position to knock back talent. If he wants to come to the club we need to make it happen

I think it was the Pies Vs Cats the other week , Danger dragged them over the line with his brute force at stoppages, that's why Bont and Cripps are also great mids , the power to get out of trouble and push through where others get caught

What Danger is doing right now as a 35 year old is better then Bergman will be in his prime. There's no comparison

You know what shits me, the press are going on about West Coast receiving a priority pick because they are so rubbish at the moment. However, people tend to forget that they won their 4th premiership in 2018 (being only 7 years ago). We haven't won a premiership since before the moon landing--how about we get a priority pick?

They can’t get a priority pick. They traded there top end pick last year and already have two this year. **** them

Port Adelaide are going to want 2 1st rounders for Miles Dangerfield
Not sure about that, they hold half the whip hand only as Miles is out of contract & rarely trades don't get done when requested.

Wiser heads prevail all clubs stick out their chest & in the end except what they can, provided it's around market value upsetting players & managers doe's no good for future buisness.

Dougal Howard was exposed with some pretty damning footage in that same segment.
He was. And it was damning
But he also clearly looked hampered by a leg injury - the kind of detail
None of these commentators are across - although I guess if you play you are deemed fit. Which he obviously wasn’t. Needs to be rested but I can understand why they brought him in for Carlton.
