Zoomers are weak as piss. I had a severed spinal cord, a dislocated shoulder, and an acl, followed by a staph infection before breakfast and still got to the gym this afternoon.

This is not enormous flexibility, it's bad list management!

Having 90% of your list out of contract (and being able to negotiate new deals with them all) doesn't result in flexibility?

They are reported to have 5 players on 7-figure salaries

I doubt that's true-

Who are the 5, and show me reliable reports of those salaries.

Are they going to start low-balling their entire list?

Clearly they need to low-ball a few, because they have under-performing players.

What's their alternative? Keep overpaying?

Cripps will be 32 before he plays a game on his new contract- (March 2027) so yeah, I expect he'll take a pay cut on his next deal.

They are probably going to have to shed a couple of good players just to get their house in order in terms of salary cap....

Maybe they will lose some players. Should they let some underperforming ones go but keep De Koning instead....or would you suggest they keep the hacks and lose De Koning to St Kilda?

Either way, with only a few million committed in 2027 and a salary cap of over $18mil- they can choose who they prioritise.

With St Kilda offering an extra $700k a season, they aren't choosing to prioritise De Koning.

Won't lie, I genuinely thought we were a sneaky chance at Rowell, even with the Filth rumours.

If nothing else, looks like we're leaving no stone unturned.
