Wog food will do that to you, thought I could catch him off guardI heard he couldn't get round to it, had a big lunch and needed to sleep it off, oh well
Won’t be going anywhere. Ross has stated that he has been a great get for us.What about Hall?
That I agree with.Next year will be the real test. Finishing bottom 6 won't be acceptable.
Yes I remember.
Over the years I have learnt to take note of a lot of what he says.
When he throws out the names of players we should be looking at, seemingly out of the ether, it often happens that those kids really come on.
I’ve told him he should be sending some tips to SOS![]()
We traded out of the 2019 draftWhich was what exactly under Ratten?
It is not like he was selling the farm to win now.
He arrives at the club at the end of 2019. So he is there for basically 3 drafts. Draft 1 we slide down a few spots to pick up Higgins but retain pick 21. Draft 2 we draft NAS. Draft 3 we pick Pou.
So in the 3 years Ratten is there we absolutely focused on the draft and picked up our best 3 young players.
Any suggestion that Lyon has had to correct the ship and focus on youth is just not correct. We were already doing this.
All the really dumb decisions were in the Richo era.
Well go on, shoot him an email….New one thanks to Hoynie. Harvey Thomas at GWS, he reckons he has elite small forward potential. They also took Phoenix Gothard instead of Collard who fell to us. It would be a good idea to do a SOS and grab half a dozen Giants. They have some absolutely massive potential sitting in reserve.

Well go on, shoot him an email….![]()
There's an article on the AFL website saying we've offered him 2 years.where u hearin this?
Two years is likely just a good business decision by his manager. With Tassie coming in most managers will use Tassie as a bartering chip with the current club. Personally, I think Windy would be an awesome choice as a future captain for the Saints: dedicated, tough, skillful enough, much better public speaker than Steele and model citizen2 years for Windy is a bit surprising. I guess he hasn't been amazing lately although this has been his best season. Interesting to see how this one plays out.
Apparently offered a multi year dealHas Hall signed a contract extension?
Well played, you got me there. NAS never said he liked Ratten, but he told the paper he loves your boyfriend Ross.We traded out of the 2019 draft
We failed the 2020 draft
2021 draft was a success
Didn't NAS say he loves ross?
Didn't hear NAS mention ratten

Can confirmApparently offered a multi year deal
Rotating through with Henry and Owens. What about Hall?
actually your sanest take yet, the meds are working!Well played, you got me there. NAS never said he liked Ratten, but he told the paper he loves your boyfriend Ross.
Case closed. Ross has single handely changed the direction of the club, I get it now.
No need to wait for evidence of it onfield, NAS loves him![]()
The way Adelaide are playing they might well win it this year.Players also have to be incentivised to stay in a shit side a fair way from success. Port have finish top 4 for years, top 2 in plenty of them. Adelaide look like a flag is within reach. I don't buy that it's just homesickness. He signed up last time because we looked on the up. Right now we have to pay to be popular.
We cut hard knowing that this could happen.
Carlton are going through it again too.
I think this will be the last year we really hit the draft, and start trading out from next year once the draft is compromised even more with Tassie.I disagree, we need to start taking less players in the draft and condensing up picks. Probably need to fatten out the mid age bracket to ease the age cliff coming.
We don't want to bottom out, we want to get games into promising kids while developing understudies injury the VFL. Target some back ups on the cheap.
We'll probably have about 22 under 22 next year. Nas, Windy, Owens, Hammer, Phillipou, Garcia, Wilson, Travaglia and Tauru likely to be picked in most matches.
Realistically two more kids in this draft will get games and we also need games into Hastie, Schoenmaker, Keeler, Dodson, LOC, Boxshall and Collard. Then guys like Heath, Said, Carroll, Armstrong, Barrat etc need opportunity.
If we start to put too much youth in we will start to drop back further, it would be pointless and commercially unviable.
