6 games this year, averaging a career highs in 16.5 disposals, 5.5 score involvements & 0.8 goals assists a game but kicked a disappointing 2.5.I wasn't happy with his start at all and his kicking was horrible, another player who was given too much latitude in terms of securing a senior appearance when resuming from injury.
More for west coast getting there’s diluted. Can’t see Brisbane getting anything with Allen and possibly Draper coming acrossAnd could be fine for both clubs as FA compo will be diluted.
Pick 1 is generally worth at least 2 firstsIn the same way we need to get way overpaid for Curnow, Port need to be way overpaid for Butters.
I just don't see Port accepting anything less than a quality player and two first rounders
I didnt think that was possible, meaning, the rules are so opaque and the formula "secret" in order to dissuade deliberately gaming of the system.Apparently the saints have structured the deal so we just miss out on band 1 compo

1000% please list mgmt team please. We need SOMETHING in def. grab some mature bodies please as weiters needs another helperI hope we consider Blight. I think he’d be good depth for us. Or he might possibly do a Haynes and make himself a best 22 player.
If Blight is even half as good as JSOS but can stay fit all year, then he is already an improvement on what we got from JSOS this year.1000% please list mgmt team please. We need SOMETHING in def. grab some mature bodies please as weiters needs another helper
They want more of the Ricky Nixon types.Sure, take Binns, Young, Pittonet, and Boyd, and we'll take Marshall and free up 75% of Marshall's salary for you.
Should give you enough foot soldiers after 10 players ask to leave
Twist my arm, why don't you! I'll throw in Elijah Hollands for a 2026 2nd round pickThey want more of the Ricky Nixon types.
Which makes me wonder, if you know how the industry works and how public something like this would be. Why come out, twice, and say you're staying?Holding Trac when he wanted out didn’t work for Melbourne - he’s worth a lot less to them now than he was last year.
Sydney moved on from Daniher after a failed attempt to land him too. Can’t see much that could make Charlie’s value go up when he’s a year older, but plenty of things can make his value go down.
I’ve got no doubt that his manager is feeding the media exaggerated stories to try dynamite him out. But he’s not doing this without Charlie’s approval. Looks like he genuinely wants to move and has authorised the manager to do what it takes to make it happen.
Or maybe it was having a different mix of players fulfilling the coach’s instructions in the final few rounds?I think Voss has finally bought in. Going by the football we were trying to play in the last month of the season and the players we are being linked to, they are all quick, genuine pace.
Because if he says he is going but the deal doesn’t get done … it’s very difficult to face up to your teammates day in, day out for the next four years.Which makes me wonder, if you know how the industry works and how public something like this would be. Why come out, twice, and say you're staying?
I don't think so.Or maybe it was having a different mix of players fulfilling the coach’s instructions in the final few rounds?
Just don't say anything then? We now know that Curnow's word is worthless given he essentially asked for a trade. As is Voss'/the club's if they trade him after coming out and staunchly saying he'll be here. The whole thing is just bizarre to me.Because if he says he is going but the deal doesn’t get done … it’s very difficult to face up to your teammates day in, day out for the next four years.
Agree, they are playing ducks and drakes - it’s a very immature approach to player movement that inevitably will change at some point. In the meantime, the charade continues.Just don't say anything then? We now know that Curnow's word is worthless given he essentially asked for a trade. Well, in the most version of this it proved to be right with the backing of Vossy for ‘26.The announcements about Charlie staying are like the Prez coming out and saying that the embattled Coach has the full support of the board ... I guess if the right offer comes along..?

Not so well for Goody.
