Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Ok quasi list managers, we’re losing a KP defender in JSOS and likely a KPF forward in CC, so what are we doing to replace these via trades, picks etc?
Names like Walter, Logan Mac and Hayward (a 3rd tall) are being thrown around as fwd options and Buku and a first year player Dean as tall defender options.
Other than Blight, shouldn’t we be looking at established key position players to replace these guys?
It would be 10 + F1 + F2 + Hayward for Charlie and Pick 40.What a crap deal. Pick 13 and 38 in a crap draft + a "b" grader for a generational player, that makes you a top 4 side+ pick 45 next year in a good draft
i've wanted him gone for awhile, not just because of his actions this post season but his lack of effort during the year.I'm genuinely interested and it's difficult to tell because there are lots of hypothetical trades being thrown around for Charlie. Perhaps a poll...but do people want to trade Charlie or do they want to keep him?

You are correctThe 2nd rounder is from 2026...
It's not pick 13, it's pick 11 as it stands (factoring in Allen compo)
You missed the fact we also get 2026 1st from them as well...
"pick 45" not sure if you know how matching bids works... but the picks clubs use to match said bids get "consumed" so pick given it's actually pick 40.. it might come down a bit to around 38.. but that is for THIS year not next...
As for this "generational player that makes you a top 4 side" well, we finished 3rd with him... once...
Unless of course, you think this year is a good draft and next year's is crap... which of course would be an even more nonsensical take...
Spot on. Looking at the teams chasing Charlie, they all have at least 2 KPF’s yet they want him. They clearly don’t agree with the current nonsense that KPF’s don’t win finals. Charlie is a genuine match winner that can deliver 70+ goals a year for the next 4 years.Id rather Curnow + speed synergy etc
Of course it's just posturing.Well according to that Charlie aint going anywhere
Unless its just posturing

Clearly ISON is Rookie list at bestAnyone else find it strange that Austin did not mention Jack Ison by name despite being asked several times about academy prospects?

I think he was trying to not give much away in general. Maybe doesn't want to draw any attention.Anyone else find it strange that Austin did not mention Jack Ison by name despite being asked several times about academy prospects?
When asked about Harry Dean the response should have been "Harry who"?I think he was trying to not give much away in general. Maybe doesn't want to draw any attention.

Austin keeping his cards close to his chest. Managed to talk for 8 minutes and say virtually nothing.
All just posturing for now, letting Geelong know that pick 35 + catman ain’t gonna get it done
It's posturing, but even if not it's hard to say much when our strategy is contingent on a major rule change that is somehow yet to be announced

Over to the interested parties to now change our mind, I guess.Well according to that Charlie aint going anywhere

Shouldn't be giving up much for any of them, no doubt we'll overpay as usual..very uninspringFound it interesting that Austin mentioned they would look to get deals for Khamis, Chesser and Reidy done early on in the week and then "focus on where we can pivot to after that - there's a lot that to play out in trade period as you know and things can happen quite quickly". Could be imagining it but felt like he was trying to hide a grin when he said that last bit
I know there'll be a few disagrees and posters blowing their gaskets but I'm fine with either May or Jones at Full back for a year or two.Ok quasi list managers, we’re losing a KP defender in JSOS and likely a KPF forward in CC, so what are we doing to replace these via trades, picks etc?

Let's just assume Graham Wright has tightened the screws for now and drop the bottom lip later if we do overpay.Shouldn't be giving up much for any of them, no doubt we'll overpay as usual..very uninspring
I'm not assuming anything anymore when it comes to Carlton, zero trust based on last 25 years.Let's just assume Graham Wright has tightened the screws for now and drop the bottom lip later if we do overpay.
