I might be a bit naive and sheltered but I've never seen anything escalate like this so quickly.

What started as, what I thought was, just a bit of salty campaigning moments after Andy signed, has just blown out to absolute epic proportions.

And jeez it it just feels like a whole bunch of he said/she said bullshit.
(apologies for the Limp Bizkit sommoning, couldn't help myself, but Huskii always bring out the music knowledge in me ;))

It's clearly been simmering in the background for a while. Doesn't even matter which side is correct (it'll be somewhere in the middle), Freo lose because no one is staying and putting up with this level of shit in your home life.

The WA based friends and family of players we trade in **** us again.

Are we absolutely, positively 100% sure these "family & friends" are who they say they are?

It still just feels like one of those "Luke's my uncle's, cousin's, butcher's, gynecologist" kind of deals.

I don't know, it all just feel's very strange.

Nah brudda think positive, Jackson is a grown man and his partner took up a job in WA to be together. They will weather this and the club will provide all the support they need.

Yes 100%. Just need to click on their profiles and unless they've been impersonating that family member for the past 10 years they are absolutely the people they claim they are.

Yes, they are, the Ruscoes were his best friends and their likes are all over the comments (all the bad ones). His mum is also liking pretty horrible stuff on there. We are ****ed.

His brother too. Pretty sure he lived with them and the Ruscoes and they were always all over each other's instagram. All been unfollowed now. His brother within the past day or two as well so seems like things have definitely escalated another level.
 
The issue is that post is gonna be filled with crap and they're all clearly going to read it

That'll happen when everyone that has the opposing view gets blocked from the page... It's just filtered down to the worst of the worst fans, hope the partners realise this...

Whole thing sounds like a f8cken mess and just a reminder that these footballers are humans with complex lives just like the rest of us.

Once again we’ve been absolutely sandwiched in amongst the personal lives, getting flashbacks to Hogan and Langdon.

Next thing you know Warner will have a falling out with someone about something and want to go back to Sydney too.
 
Shocked none of this hasn't gotten even more coverage than it already has.

You'd expect the Vic media be all over this like a rash, specially 2 days out from us kicking off the season.

Be very surprised if it isn't the first thing they bring up on the pre-bounce coverage on sat morning.

Kind of feel like, with all this weight on his shoulders, it was the right thing picking Reidy as ruck for the game, his mind may not be entirely on the task at hand.

At least there's a little less responsibility with the other tall towers in the fwd line.
