The picks will be used to upgrade our 2nd to get McVee.

Whan will be selected after pick 50, and that is only worth a handful of points. Picks after 54 are worth no points, it won't matter.

Bids after pick #40 are matched with your next pick anyway, whether it's #42 or #142 - it's just the next pick you have matches the bid.

I’d like to think Brodie has slightly more value!

Perhaps we move 33 into 28

Upgrade Port’s lower picks.

28 for McVee?
I suggested we upgrade our second fin the brodie trade and it was shut down saying port wont involve their second
Broide.33.53 for 28 likely?

I've had enough now, did we get McVee yet?
Lol! Imagine all the posturing to do nothing for the first day, then the first trade of the period is for a player and pick swaps in the 50s, 60s and 70s?!?!? Probably about 4 or 5 trades like this could easily get swiped on Day 1. Outrageous, the AFL really is a real sh*tshow

Mike91 - You seem to laugh at many of my posts.

Are you ok?

Please explain what’s laughable with trying to move 33 into 28 with Port?
It would be good if you two can keep it in your pants.

Brodie has less value than Reidy though, Port arent involving their 2nd, no matter how small. The benefit for us in them taking Brodie is freeing up however much of his salary is over base wages (general though is he is on 400k).

I reckon it will be that 50 we just got into 48 and that's about it

I hate that this thread makes me think the club will never win a premiership. I don’t want to know about structural disadvantages and how we were so incredibly screwed over on comp entry (honestly, can we sue the AFL for 2 years of appropriate concessions?).

But hey, hope springs eternal I guess.

Had a little giggle at the discussion of Hogan… Melbourne hasn’t ever been known to be the cleanest city in the world, and a friend living in Sydney reports that he’s had bartenders look at him very oddly for ordering a drink while out on the town… looked around and realised everyone was clearly a bit altered, but nobody was drinking alcohol. The only difference from Perth is that AFL players are lower profile and it rains more.
