Pick 19 becomes 25 after academy selections… we’ve effectively traded our way out of the first round entirely just to get an ok defender.

Pretty much my takeaway, the trade itself is pretty questionable, but nobody will care once McVee is tearing it up for us.

An okay defender I think is under selling him a bit, he immediately slots into the Best 23, he's only young and his potential is sky high.
