Did you forget the 'quality' key word? Pearce and Ryan go down and we have... OMac, Draper and Davies.

Is there a club who have four AFL quality key defenders?

Pearce, Cox, Ryan... gap... McDonald, Draper, Davies, Murphy

He'll 100% get through to Adelaide in the PSD.

He's a solid best 23 player. No more, no less and he's not someone that clubs need to have.
He would considerably improve our forward line, it would be stupid not to pick him before Adelaide do if he was available.

Add Geelong (Worpel, Sydney (Curnow) and Giants (Oliver) to the list. Glad I'm not the only one concerned.
Worpel is alright but Geelong really needed Marshall. Their rucks two 35 year olds and the bloke they got for Jordan Clark, Conway who's perennially injured.

Can you see us winning a flag with a back 6 of Cox, Draper, Davies, Warner, OMac, Clark?

Find me a club with better options
All I'm saying is that we need some quality KPD cover in the next 18 months for Pearce who averages about 65% of a season, is made of papier-mâché and wants to be a Tassie Devil.

The back lines of premiership sides are usually where the players you're surprised have a flag were. I remember the Dogs winning a flag sending a key forward, outside the side, to the back line when everyone else was injured.

✅ McVee
✅ lost no B22 players for the 2nd year in a row
✅ big deals falling through for teams around us (Geelong, Hawthorn, Adelaide)

❌ that awful pick swap
❌ teams around us (Gold Coast, GWS, Brisbane and Sydney) all getting better
❌ no experience added (yay to another year of being the youngest team)
❌ Wallsy packing up shop on day 2

F*** me, Carlton just won a set for life scratchy. Able to set themselves up for a medium rebuild to replace key components whilst being competitive in the present.
Watch them draft a raft of spuds now.

Both Essendon and Hawthorn come out looking like idiots.

Essendon sound like a pack girls that are just kicking the can down the road.

And Hawthorn couldn't get the job done.

I like that a club who held the long term contract of a star player held firm on keeping the services they've paid for and committed to.

Usually the player managers get what they want.

I will say if anything was to change my mind a bit it's the dawn of a new era on saying no to trades.

I'm still trying to understand what the **** Brisbane are doing with Ah Chee though. That is far worse than our trade obviously but winning flags lets you do whatever you want with fans

I said GWS. I'm not as bullish on Sydney and I think Geelong are probably about due for a dip.

No I didn't.

Outside of Leek Aleer who just requested a trade there isn't that many better 'depth' KPDs across the league than Omac and Draper.

You might be able to find 3-4 others tops.
