Teakle from East Freo? I was sad when we didn't get him (if it is the same person)
Agree they did well out of the deal, but if I was a blues supporter I’d be filthy about moving further and further away from any chance of a flag.Absolutely hilarious watching the Carlton board melt that they got bent over before the actual deal was announced.
That’s massive over

Reckon there's a fair chance someone has a similar idea and jumps in early for one of them tbh. Time will tell. Both him and Teakle are going to train on and compete for one SSP spot apparently
The AFL seems like they are Satisfied they’ve hit their marks pumping the love into QLD and the revaluing of the draft SHOULD be the next priorityAgree with Cal, this feels like a big moment in AFL trades.
Not only clubs starting to throw 1st round picks like candy but clubs being firm on no
Wrong31, 42 and a 2027 pick back.
Hayward also going to the blues.
Sydney are ****ing stupid.
No shit

TRADE WRAP: Attention turns to Draft after Trade Period
David Walls wraps up Fremantle’s 2025 AFL Continental Tyres Trade Periodwww.fremantlefc.com.au
So if we want our academy players, and they get an early bid, we have the list space to match

One of the situations I think best available just goes out the window a bit. Our forward depth options are basically nil![]()
“For us - particularly talent in the front half - is where we’d like to keep adding from now on.”
Wallsy 4D chess!maybe the secret handshake deal with Brisbane and West coast was a wink wink nudge nudge that they will let ah chee fall to us in PSD![]()

Lattrelle Pickett, Hugo Mikunda........ or Ralor Byrne with second pick![]()

Brisbane posters riding the waive of back to back flags. Clearly a shit move by Brisbane but they are allowed to do whatever they want until proven otherwise in their supporters eyesWhat I absolutely love is reading the separate trade threads and seeing the mental gymnastics supporters of each team are going through to pin the blame and the bad faith solely on the other sides.
It's REALLY funny seeing the Brisbane supporters do this given they literally cut their noses off to spite their face. At least Essendon have Merrett for another year.
Try living up here: That was their default attitude BEFORE the flags.Brisbane posters riding the waive of back to back flags. Clearly a shit move by Brisbane but they are allowed to do whatever they want until proven otherwise in their supporters eyes
Nah , type of player who doesn’t watch footy except his own highlight reelsHe’s still Charlie Curnow and if they get him right he’s the best key forward in the league
Means we may not pick Harley Barker even if he is available at pick 20.![]()

I reckon he is bluffing to keep clubs guessing. We have 20, 47, 69. If our plan is to draft both Freddy and Whan, picking a forward with 20 and leaving Freddy to pick 47 is a big risk. Rumours are he has told clubs he doesn't want to leave WA which will help us. If we pick Freddy at 47 you just know we did a handshake deal with the Weagles.![]()
