They did it all publicly too. Must be very embarrassing for them.gonna sleep soundly tonight laughing about how hawks chased H.Reid, Trac and ZM so hard and fumbled on all three, such a shame...
The Merrett chase probably cost them Worpel too
Worpel is not a Mitchell type player. More blunt object than stiletto

Which two out of West Coast, Richmond, North and Essendon do you have them finishing below?Yeah, I’d say bottom 3 for them this year and when butters goes, they’ll hit rock bottom

Personally think Port will be in the next group of teams up and they'll be a big gap between the top groups.
Great breakdown.Collingwood and Hawthorn are worse off after than before. And I'd say Geelong, GWS, Adelaide and Freo are marginally better - adding a b22 player and losing no one of note.
I do think Gold Coasts list is due to be unbalanced with all the Academy players. Feel obliged to bring them in but in doing so pushing out a lot of their best 22 players. Four this year. Humphreys really wants out. I imagine there will be more to come.Great breakdown.
I think with this part, and all other things being equal, Freo and Adelaide's list profile demographically will see the biggest improvements. I'd argue Freo would have the most improvement. Geelong could even decline. They won't have Danger able to do Danger things again as much next year I don't reckon. GWS with Clarry is an interesting proposition. Gold Coast peaking might **** us completely during our window, hopefully it's a long one and hopefully their list unbalances enough to make enough of a difference. 2026 should be interesting either way.
Possibly got to strike in the next two years IMO if we don't want Gold Coast to be a major threat.I do think Gold Coasts list is due to be unbalanced with all the Academy players. Has King signed a new contract or still a free agent next year? Feel like the JUH gamble may be because King is already fielding offers.
They load up essentially on the wrong players they need.Absolutely hilarious watching the Carlton board melt that they got bent over before the actual deal was announced.
That’s massive over
Whatever happened to Walter? That guy is going to be special too.Has King signed a new contract or still a free agent next year? Feel like the JUH gamble may be because King is already fielding offers.
Don’t see where Petracca fits tbh. Davies is their defensive stopper for Rowell and Anderson. He’s their version of Dunkley. It works.Free agent. Clubs will go hard at him.
Humphries is as good as gone. Hope it isn't Hawthorn. They've got Weddle and Dear coming out of contract end of 2026, then Day RFA end of 2027, so hopefully monster offers come and Hawks have their hands full and can't bring anyone else in.
Rogers and Walter were agitating and I reckon one or both leave if they stay on the outer. Both out of contract end of 2026.
Witts will be finished soon and they have no replacement coming through (I don't really rate Read as a ruckman). Also an UFA end of 2026 if a team wants to poach him for a few more years.
Collins 32 next year and again they have no replacement coming through.
Rowell and Anderson both RFA end of 2027. Clubs will come extremely hard.
GC might have all these academy players coming through, but I think they have a very narrow window in my opinion. Can see why they've gone all in on Petracca. I reckon its just 2026 and 2027 and then there is a very good chance they are gutted and back to square one.
They just got a former number 1 draft pick in JUH.Free agent. Clubs will go hard at him.

Warner is Free agentGoing for Warner in contract looks like a no go now. Will have to wait until end of 2027, and even then because of the Tassie bullshit we may not have enough.
These deals were horseshit.
Just thinking what we got for Lachie Neale in this new context makes my head spin around like Linda Blair
They won’t be top for long. McDonald will attract top picks.Logan McDonald is probably at the pies within 3 years
Pies supporter growing up and they've had interest in the past
With pick 73 too. They just got a former number 1 draft pick in JUH.
If that kid decides to play, and gets good delivery will be a nightmare with King.

He's a restricted FA. Sydney will match our offer and force a trade. It will be digustingly expensive and we may need to trade out a player.Warner is Free agent
Give us a free swing at the Daicos or Ashcroft boys and we would.Meh, pass for Freo. Don't really see McVee being the unicorn to take us to a flag.
No offence to Judd, he's a good player.
Happy to have him, but the oppo got stronger, and we've got a little bit better.
Reckon Walls gets the Kool Aid treatment around here, if he was that good, we'd have a flag by now
You don't get it, we don't need a top 5 player in Mcvee he just needs to be better in the botoom 6 players on match day that we currently have. That is what lets us downMeh, pass for Freo. Don't really see McVee being the unicorn to take us to a flag.

Mcdonald was genuinely considering coming home before he signed his last extension (this came from his family ) it didn't happen mostly due to us.They won’t be top for long. McDonald will attract top picks.
Will he be unrestricted?Warner is Free agent
