If in some bizarro world he slipped to our pick, I’d take him, dgaf that he’s a mid, he’s bloody good, and like 196cm.Riley Onley not in the top 20 let alone top 10, he is kidding.
I think it's actually Grlj.No one has the last name girl. Ffs
Don't fall for the "our midfield is stacked" fallacy. If in some bizarro world he slipped to our pick, I’d take him, dgaf that he’s a mid, he’s bloody good, and like 196cm.
Yep especially since we don’t even have good picksIf this draft is not rated as overly strong, would it be a good idea to not overturn our list so much at the end of the season and offer another 1 year contract to a few guys like Phillips and Ford who are reasonable depth and still have potential upside while using fewer picks in the draft?

There's forward planning and than there's North, you just know we'll dump 10, recruit a bunch of kids and wonder why we keep having to cycle through them.If this draft is not rated as overly strong, would it be a good idea to not overturn our list so much at the end of the season and offer another 1 year contract to a few guys like Phillips and Ford who are reasonable depth and still have potential upside while using fewer picks in the draft?
I’m not against us packaging up our 2 second rounders for a future 1st from a club that needs academy points this year.
Cody Curtin 200cm might be around our pick on rankings but both West Coast and Adelaide would be tempted to have a crack.Yep especially since we don’t even have good picks
It’s written in the stars…Tate Hodgson roos_fanatic08
My 6 degrees of ITK stocks are runneth over.
TennisPlayerAndy maybe we can trade out of the 2026 1st round too and both CDT and Tate can be taken with North Melbourne picks.
By other clubs.

Yep. If we wanted to move our F1, we could trade for that, but we'd have to really want someone in the top 10.Keep an eye on Gold Coast in this draft I reckon. Their pick attached to Port will be gettable.
He was up to 196cm late last year fwiw.Unreal. I reckon Tate will be up the pointy end of the draft next year. Classy, natural interceptor with composure and skill. Similar sort of player to Luke Trainor.
Pretty rare that you get games at Coates League level as a 15 year old, but he played 7-8 games for the knights last year. That in itself is bloody impressive
Riley Onley = The LonelyRiley Onley not in the top 20 let alone top 10, he is kidding.

Yep it should. Preference is probably to use those two R2's to move up into the teens or use a R2 and F2.The two second rounders will have some points value for clubs with academy needs and a previous flippancy towards first round picks.
There's a chance you could trade out one of those R2's on night 2 for a late future 1st or early R2 if the demand is there, but the only problem with trading into next year might be if any of our F/S or NGA players turn out to be top 10 level talents and the future 1st you traded out for next year might just end up getting absorbed in bids.I’m not against us packaging up our 2 second rounders for a future 1st from a club that needs academy points this year.
Crows a chance for sure, but WCE might not get a look if NGA Wes Walley gets a bid before pick 15.Cody Curtin 200cm might be around our pick on rankings but both West Coast and Adelaide would be tempted to have a crack.
As for turning over the list, we don't really need more 18 year olds not ready to go as depth.
