Between Steve Boyle and Rick Kennedy, #8 was Ian Morrison. A fairly good footballer, another from the Gippsland football factory, and prodigious kick, thrown all over the field by his Bulldog coaches, a short stint at Essendon, then kicked 100 goals at Sandy in a premiership year.

I got a #6 guernsey after Smith was drafted, in support of a young mid who looked like he had everything. Kinda had to stop wearing it once he got his brand running everything, as I’m not a teenage girl.
