Garrett looked for all money like he was going to break the sack record with weeks in hand, and by a good 3 or 4 sacks.

Slowing down and only breaking it in the extra week does take some of the shine away, unfortunately. Still a huge achievement, but it does bring in the "but an extra game" argument.
