The 3 time Pro Bowler and one of the best run stopping defenders in the league was gunna be cut i hear from a few GB fans after they traded him!

Lucky he is done in the NFL and at 29 is close to retirement! Poor Jerruh and the Cowboys.

Social media is nuts and a laugh. Packers fans will be all over this saying how he is past it and is rubbish and to old now at 29! It is social media at its best when team alliances kick in and trolls fail to acknowledge any upside when they can argue the downside to suit ones own agenda.

Hasn't been good in the past two years. Average in both run defense (57.1 grade 83rd in the league) and pass rush (63.1 72nd in the league) for defensive tackles.

Clark is the best run stopper we have bought in many years.


Micah is easy to combat and just run the ball. If that is worth the most money for a non QB ever good luck Packers.

No, not even close. But I suppose if you want to get a player in his prime to come to your team you always have to entice them by paying overs.

I was never talking about the Packers cap because we were in cap hell from Rodgers and well not a FA destination so never needed to clear up heaps of cash. We are in year 2 of cap stability but just maxed out the credit cards. And well have a good cap guy in Russ Ball. The contract is easy till 2028 and then easy to cut or rip up. And while the clock is ticking to get another ring we are still the youngest roster in the league, got many of the key players under deals for 3 years. Which is why we can have big deals for Love and Parsons because of all the rookie deals. And the Packers are historically a draft and develop team where almost no player other then QB get a 3rd contract. And I'm sure you will say something about giving away the picks, but look at our recent 1st round picks not like we have been hitting gold right away with them and recent edge picks have been poor for the most part

But at the end of the day only 1 team wins the superbowl every year and there are a bunch of good teams, you also need some luck to win them.

Seems you are a little cranky today. It's OK everyone will still shit on your team because the NFL will force them on everyone with 6 national primetime games but surely flex a few out. A thanksgiving and Xmas day game and currently 4 main late window games.

Were Watson, Goff, Trevor Lawrence or Love worth the biggest QB contracts in history when signed. No but it's what the market is, was Josh Allen not but more so then the others. Then Dak hit $60 with his contract last year. The next guy up will try and top that one too.
You do the same for WRs or another position.

The NFL market is always to try and set a record deal, which is why smart teams get them done early and not wait till camp in the final year to extend or have to trade.

Panthers placed WR Jalen Coker (quad) on injured reserve with a designation to return.
According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Coker will miss at least the first four games of the season with a quad injury. He was looking like a great late-round receiver option with the Panthers trading Adam Thielen and recent reports that Coker would primarily work out of the slot.

Renfrow is back with the Panthers mere days after being cut, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Panthers can better use Renfrow’s services now after they traded Adam Thielen to the Vikings and Jalen Coker (quad) went down with an injury. Renfrow could see a good amount of work from the slot in at least the first four games of the season as that’s where the team planned on using Coker. Can a Hunter Renfrow PPR scam work in 2025? I guess we’re going to find out.

I can't understand why Parsons is traded now.

He was under contract.

The Cowboys receive 2 late 1st rounders of non-determined value. Although most likely late 20s as the Packers will be good.

Franchise QB, tackle and DE of elite status should never be traded because its so hard to find equitable replacements.

Cowboys should have made him play under his contract or let him hold out.

Next offseason they would have got at least the same number of picks, in the same draft timelines and have known exactly where the picks fell.

Jerry's bruised ego is why this happened and whilst I respect his old school "agreement on a handshake", any other GM would be fired or have their card marked at least with this decision.
