So which podcasts / YouTube folk are still going around and are pumping out good content?
As in, if you have limited time and can only listen to one mob to speed read a touch, who is it?

4 teams now, who were scheduled for an early bye, have now had it cancelled .....which means SC players from 4 teams will have an extra game, for SC purposes .....

That's not totally correct is it?
Gold Coast will still have their Rd 2 bye and Essendon Rd 4

Or are they playing a game in those weeks?

In either case, those players provide an extra score across the season, thought that was the point he was making, because they are not playing a Rd 0 (SC) dead rubber either way.
That score has to fall somewhere across the year, though obviously better here the earlier it is

Yeah for sure, I still don't think you'd be wise to start a GC or Ess premo player until after their first bye. So I don't think much has really changed.

Yeah, seems likely theirs is more likely to be later just on scheduling, so you'd say upgrade targets more than starters. Bris, Geel become starter options if Rd 3 shift 100%, so different box of frogs, you're right

I’d probably go The Coaches Panel and pick the SuperCoach relevant episodes. Dr SuperCoach was very good but it’s no longer free.

Ess and GC players for mine are still no go's. OR doesn't count toward overall scores but counts for the players for price in/decrease. So essentially the 8 teams that were scheduled to play OR are a game short on your teams overall score and an early bye if you are going for overall rankings can hurt if others have more premos playing than rookies.

Ess/GC will still likely have that early bye as they can't swap it now as they don't have it the same week so it'll affect the early draw considerably if they were to say play in round 4 as an example. There is just no way they are able to get that game in the first half of the year so the early byes will stay.

Lions and Cats players are all go once the AFL confirms what we all know and their round 3 bye is now the game they becomes like the other 10 teams that weren't scheduled to play OR and only have 1 bye and not 2 byes. But the others (GC/ESS) I'd still be looking at with caution.

I'm on-board with this .....my other philosophy is not to believe Premiership teams front up as hungry as the previous year

Both GEEL and COLL faltered after flags ....combine with Neale's age, I think I'll play the odds

I hear you, but athletes globally are performing at elite levels for much longer than they used to.

Might be cope, but I think I'm starting him.
