Happy about this result.

a) I hate Hawthorn more than ANY other club (including Carlscum) so when they lose I always get a slight dopamine lift.

b) Freo have proven their credentials, so their mental state won't be as desperate as it might have been had they lost.

c) Game at MCG, which gives us an enormous uplift.

Some good results with Geelong and Hawthorn losing, despite losing ourselves. We are now three games and percentage clear of fifth spot, even taking into account the suns extra game which they should win. With six games left that’s top four prett much locked in.

A home final though less cetain….only two games clear. Need to keep winning and the away game to the crows later in the year might turn out to be pivotal.

This weeks game against Freo is a must win. Knock them off and beat Richmond and top two becomes more of a reality.

Not sure how different Hawthorn will look when Day returns because they’ve not been the same without him, but watching last nights game, not too fussed to have them again.

Yeah I just ran my 1st ladder predictor. It's going to be a very tight finish, if we drop 2 games, could finish anywhere bw 1-4. Adelaide have a nice draw and sneaky chance to finish top.
