Even if Brisbane are the ones chasing us on the ladder, can't be unhappy to wake up and see Carlton lost, again!

Voss is not their issue - they overpay a handful of overrated, under-performing stars, and field the rest of a team worthy of VFL level footy.

No coach is fixing that. Voss has actually got the best out of this list compared to others, getting them to finals twice.

If it were in my interest to improve Carlton (ewww), I would be keeping Voss, and starting a full rebuild at the end of this season, getting what you can for those aforementioned "stars".

If they persist with this current list, they'll be in the doldrums for years and years to come. Our 32 year drought (where we still made it to the Grand Final 8 of those years - mind you), will look like a spec of time compared to what's ahead of this mob!

I think the schadenfreude many of us (esp those of more advanced years) are experiencing is directly related to the insufferable arrogance Carlton displayed when they were successful - not just enjoying their success but going several extra miles to remind everyone just how good they were. This includes the behaviour of more than one of their previous presidents.
