Last night on SEN Gerard Healy was saying the Geelong Dr said Stewart was subbed due to contact to the neck, not necessarily concussion protocols..
Had anyone heard an update to this?

I have had that argument put forward multiple times today. The sources seem to be just outside the club. Arm only. There are multiple clubs with variable medical standards. I suspect he will play and I won’t like it. Geelong have a different atmosphere for there as well.

I look back fondly on the era when the world called Geelong the ‘handbaggers’. While I abhor the sexist and demeaning (to women) nature of the description, it reflected the apparent mental weakness of the Cats at that time (women are soft and weak - I’m sure you get it).

If we play them next week, I’d love them to reclaim that reputation, if not the descriptor.

It was always going to be a matter of when this would happen, not IF. I dislike Geelong supporters for various reasons (not the Geelong FC) I have sympathy towards Stewart not eligible to play in the GF and wouldn't wish that on any player.

Yes, they were good, but only when Hawthorn were no longer able to sustain the pressure they applied in the first quarter.

They were very ordinary in the 1st. I trust the Pies can do better than 25 minutes of pressure footy and also compete better in centre clearances. Hawthorn's midfield was made to look marginally better than a solid VFL team last night.
